Edingleyfox Posted 28 August 2024 Posted 28 August 2024 A lot of clubs can see that £5m is a steal. £10m not unrealistic IMO

For whatever reason, two managers haven't fancied him despite his decent showing when he has got pitch time in his career. Probably best for him to move on for both parties. Shame, but sometimes it's right player at the wrong club at the wrong time. Everton fans were saying very similar when he was sold to us, that he can’t be any worse than what they have, deserves a chance etc. So I guess make that 3.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 28 August 2024 Posted 28 August 2024 Everton fans on their forum didn't want him sold and were saying that what they bought isn't any good and are p*ssed off that Dyche isn't keen to develop youth like they once did.
FOXYTALK Posted 28 August 2024 Posted 28 August 2024 Luton should be able to cough up. Just got 8 mill for ogbene
South Shire Fox Posted 28 August 2024 Posted 28 August 2024 (edited) Id be happy with selling him for the money we paid plus a 20 percent sell on clause if we are actually going to sell him. Would stop Everton getting any more money for him Edited 28 August 2024 by South Shire Fox

FrankieADZ Posted 29 August 2024 Posted 29 August 2024 what a club we are if we accept less than we paid for him, be typical of us too tbf, then get a injury prone striker in on loan

Dahnsouff Posted 29 August 2024 Posted 29 August 2024 With a year passed in his 5 year contract, his book value is 6.04m (i think, from a 8.8m over 5 years, with year gone) Selling for ~6m with favourable clauses and sell on OR buy back would not be the end of the world.
Spudulike Posted 29 August 2024 Posted 29 August 2024 Something really weird about this. Scored loads of goals for Preston in half a season, scored a few decent goals for us and showed potential but never really given an opportunity. There's a story behind this and we need to know.
Grebfromgrebland Posted 29 August 2024 Posted 29 August 2024 He doesn't have enough premier league experience.

Personally think he is currently a championship level striker and there is no conspiracy and we don’t wish to carry that weight in the PL, as boring as that sounds. 1
FoxinNotts Posted 29 August 2024 Posted 29 August 2024 https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/middlesbrough-in-shock-move-for-leicester-city-striker-tom-cannon/ Boro want him (they wanted him before we got him, last season tbf). I’d love us to offer them a swap plus cash for Latte Lath. Baller. 2

JimJams Posted 29 August 2024 Posted 29 August 2024 Can they afford to let him go even with Cannon coming in?

themightyfin Posted 29 August 2024 Posted 29 August 2024 I think he goes if we get a loan in. If we don't I don't see how we can let him leave. Daka is close to returning to training but still Would leave us very short. 1
