With a year passed in his 5 year contract, his book value is 6.04m (i think, from a 8.8m over 5 years, with year gone)

Selling for ~6m with favourable clauses and sell on OR buy back would not be the end of the world.

Personally think he is currently a championship level striker and there is no conspiracy and we don’t wish to carry that weight in the PL, as boring as that sounds.

There is rumours on the Boro forum that one of their big guns could be sold this window, so ELL fits that bill

Daka is close to returning to training but still Would leave us very short.
