Well juve wanted more than that 

but as mused for a while, juve have identified the player will be sold to finance purchases and the player has some strength here. If he’s dug his heels in on Roma and only Roma then juve probably have to settle on a figure they’ll actually get and do the deal

Time to take the money we offered for Soule and target a natural attacking midfielder rather than a player who is more comfortable on the wing. Soule going to Roma is a blessing in disguise even though he is clearly very talented.

 

Gabriel Sara would be ideal but if we can find a cheaper unknown alternative similar to how we identified Mavididi and Fatawu then that would also work.

I would of been happy if we signed him but if he doesn’t want to come to us, use the money we were going to spend on him and sign Gus Hamer for 15mil, then use whatever’s left of the Soule transfer fee on an unknown gem!

So apparently we were willing to pay 10m more and still didn't land the player. 

 

I wonder if we'll try for another creative player. 

 

Everyone else we've been linked with has been the opposite of creative.

Juve wouldn’t sell to Roma unless their offer was at least as good as ours.

Money talks at the end of the day and if it's better for Juventus, his bank balance, the lads agents etc he may still come to us.
