The Argentina U23 international is a player of interest to Leicester and one of a number in the attacking-midfield position they are looking to recruit in. Juventus want a substantial fee for him in the region of £33.5m (€40m) for Soule, who is believed to be keen on a move to Roma, who have yet to bid. how come every report seems to increase the amount juve want. it was €30m last week… they’ve just realised how easy we are to negotiate up 1

JimJams Posted 17 July 2024 Posted 17 July 2024 30million Euros is £25mill so it's probably a bit lost in translation and the exchange rate. 2

Phenom Posted 17 July 2024 Posted 17 July 2024 Roma doesn’t worry me too much but West Ham does. We should have gotten this done a week ago, though.

TBF, Juventus had 13 players in the Euros and Copa America so they may not have been in such a rush to sell players. 1

AyewJoking Posted 17 July 2024 Posted 17 July 2024 If Daka had gone to Liverpool he'd be be playing in the Turkish second division by now the path not taken.....

mozartfox Posted 17 July 2024 Posted 17 July 2024 Ffs Rudders, either get this done or give it to Susan to close. Playing poker with Roma and West Ham is possibly going to end up badly. 1

We've been accused of doing that in the past. I prefer the cautious approach at this point, they'll be other options if we miss out. 1

If we really want a player, we should offer what we think they’re worth. Now, we’re close to a bidding war and are upping our offers to win it.
