Cooper is not living up to his reputation of bringing through academy/young players. If he hasn't the bravery to start Alves, Braybrooke or Golding in a meaningless pre-season game in an area we are horrifyingly weak in then when will he?

 

Making it very difficult to get behind him so far.

Starting loads of academy lads in pre-season when you are never going to play them in competitive games is a bit stupid, as the first XI then don`t get a pre-season.
