You aren’t getting a proven really good championship player for £10m. You said a young player, which generally means unproven. And you also CANNOT guarantee any sale whatsoever, which is the point.

Jonathan Rowe is supposedly going to Leeds for £10m.

So;

1) Hat-trick on home debut

2) Breaks ankle badly soon after

3) Falls out with everyone on return

4) Leaves club

Cool

i doubt we're that lucky, he'll never score a hatrick

Hearing he’s on his way for a medical, not sure about this one don’t think he’s better than what we already have?

mind you most won’t believe anything unless he’s been seen in Morrisons !!😉😂

no news, guess youve not loooked through the pages then:whistle:

My bad, I only skimmed the last 1-2 pages.

Wilf Zaha to Leicester! This could either go terribly wrong or incredibly right.

I always knew Rudkin was a genius.

I'm not sure what your point is.

you shouldn't ever buy players because no one will ever want to buy them off you, so pay more each season to loan them instead

It all depends on the extent to which they're giving up on this season. If they're expecting crippling sanctions and are cutting their cloth accordingly, we'll end up looking at this as a waste of money. If players, manager and board believe there are serious prospects of staying up, maybe it makes sense.

Wilf doesn't have the best injury record. No worries, Seagrave will sort him out.

:nigel:

We're going to need to have his legs wrapped in bubble wrap.

Well my whole point has been Zaha does not commit you beyond this season cost wise. Any other signing does, so suggesting a player for x amount on x contract and saying we can just sell him, does not work.

Financially it isn’t the horrific deal some are making it out to be.

The reason we are paying such a high fee is because Gala are covering his wages due to tax implications and so if he were on £100k and we paying his wages that would be £5.2m of the outlay.

It is actually quite a sensible deal in the sense of how it has been structured. If the club can pull it off it would be a statement signing.
