It’s like watching a car crash in slow motion isn’t it?

He is clearly out of his depth and the game has evolved and passed him by.

Like Rodgers annoying little clap, him turning round to ask his coaching staff permission really grates on me….the least commanding football manager that I can remember in a long time.

Mate you’re talking bollocks…… the team isn’t great no…… but there’s enough experience and quality in it to navigate a comfortable survival. And by that I mean even 15th is comfortable…… they’re being mismanaged, and are being set up to fail by a bloke who’s completely out of his depth as a coach.

Last season proves this group is adaptable, to just flippantly toss that off is feeble….. we’ve scored in all but one game, so we carry a threat, but there’s a lack of a plan which means the same turgid tactics are being deployed week in week out…. You can see the complete lack of enthusiasm on the pitch….

Time and time again it’s been proven that under good management and with decent coach, the most average of teams can survive comfortably…..

You won’t believe how much I want you to be right, I want Cooper out and see us poorly set up, but I look at this league and think if not us , then who goes down? They would have to capitulate like we did in our relegation, and I don’t see it.

When a manager tries to start deflecting from his own short comings then it's time for him to go. Cooper now starting to blame the officials for the result. Did he not see the game? We were miles off it. Every week he says it's individual errors of players that cost us. Again deflecting everything from himself. We haven't improved at all under Cooper we've gone backwards. Time to change it up as can't get any worse. If we leave it too late we'll be in the relegation zone and no manager will want to come. Please Top get rid!

First of all, I didn’t expect anything against Chelsea, but the manner of the defeat much like against United is the most troubling thing. Yesterday’s game was men against boys, jt was that bad. How it ended only 2-1 is beyond me. The reality is we’re getting worse every week, and we’re not staying up as long as Cooper remains in charge.

The one redeeming quality Cooper seemed to have was getting players to run for him, and even that’s gone now. I’ll admit, it’s a tough job and the squad isn’t great, but there’s enough quality to work with. Right now though, we’re so easy to play against. The players look frustrated with him, and I just think he’s losing he dressing room. If he's not already

Might be doing Cooper a disservice here as I've only watched it once, and was angry.

In his interview after the match, he basically said that if you attack, you leave yourselves open at the back.

Wtf? Just let that sink in.

It certainly explains why we dont seem to press too much when chasing a game and some of the bizarre and/or late substitutions he's made in many games.

He will not go, and Top i’m sure will only think about getting rid once we are in the bottom three. Never understood this appointment, was totally against everything we were trying to build

All of the teams below us are worse than us…… and I’d throw that wolves and Everton probably aren’t much better. This league is 80% utter dross, Forest aren’t even a good team, they’re just well organised and well drilled and they’re flying. The idea this league is the best int he world is either wrong, or just a sad indictment at how poor the general quality in the sport is now.

When you watch us play, it’s abundantly clear there’s no plan, there’s no examples of good coaching or a tactical ideology at all, we basically try to hang on in games, fail, and then have to scramble around to try and get back into the game.

Our problems are more coaching than players individually.

I listen to the Totally Football Show on the Athletic regularly and sometimes there are a couple of Forest journalists on there (Daniel Storey?), and they obviously love Cooper for what he did for them but they keep calling us a confusing and negative fan base because we don't rate Cooper and we want him out. Their love for the man clouds their judgement on his actual abilities.

So annoyed we got this bloke in, I’m guessing the Forest lot love him more with how much he is draining our club of any ambition

Too many forest bores on the podcast circuit.

Can’t stand Madri Storey.

Same interview content from him week in week out !!

About 0.35 non penalty xG. We’re abysmal offensively - he’s a crap tactician and a worse coach.

We’re choosing relegation again if we don’t sack him.

Exactly they can’t do the same to Cooper like they did to Rodgers and keep thinking it will be ok so get on with sacking this fucher and get in a decent replacement an RVN or Potter !

I never bought into this idea.  The fact is, if your gameplan is to do nothing but defend a 0-0 and stay in the game, once you're a goal or two down that gameplan has gone to shit and it's out the window.  Then the shackles are off.  It's not playing for the manager.  It's just playing.  Maybe for a bit of pride.  But it's nothing to do with him.  If anything, it's the opposite.  "We tried it your way, and it didn't work".

Absolutely spot on in my opinion. I actually think the majority of the squad genuinely care and want to do well for the club and their own personal pride. Cooper and his ‘tactics’ clearly constrain the players and then at a stage in the game it becomes 💩 or bust and they almost throw out the plan and have a go, at this point we usually have our best spells.

Tactically he’s got to be one of the worst I’ve seen at City. Right hand side constantly exposed. It’s more subtle but we are letting every oppositions deepest midfielder control the tempo of games because they are unmarked (Caicedo yesterday, Morsy for Ipswich)

Just watching some of the highlights from last season (well my boy is) and watching our attacking prowess that we had

Flowing

The same highlights steve Cooper spent many hours watching.

Learning the team

Few little tweaks and we will be fine

Southampton, Ipswich, Everton, West Ham, Palace, Wolves... there are enough teams we can feasibly finish above of

He’ll get at least the next 3 games. 3 games that a couple of years ago we’d have expected at least 7 points from. Now I can’t see us getting 1.

Then we’ll head into the Xmas period and that’ll buy him time.

Sacking him now would mean the board are admitting they recruited badly. Something those egos would never want to expose.

Buckle up it’ll be team Cooper for a while yet.

Has to go, I still don't know what or system I'd, what our tactics are. We seem to just put 11 player on the pitch and amble around. It's absolutely god awful to watch.

Also my other point with us is that we are so ****ing beige.

If we decided to be a shithouse team or we decided to be transition exploits or even we park the bus, I can see it and I can get behind it.

The idea behind is so bodged - so ****ing nothing. It’s like a vacuum of a football team. A football manager should look at what attacking talent we have go, we can make something of this.

We sit in games like yesterday needing luck. We aren’t looking to make things happen rather hope something happens by chance.

Rudkin has zero football brain if he couldn’t see this. There is a whole mind process at the club that this season is just about staying up. There is no ambition to set out the medium and long term footballing goals for this club.

I don’t think the penny is dropping for many on the financial bomb that will go off with relegation again.
