Dawn Butler is mostly right about Kemi Badenoch, even if it’s politically unfeasible to say it (and she should not have said it).

"The blackface of white supremacy" ?

Not really 'news' as such, but Colleen Rooney is rumoured to take part in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!.

Wouldn't be surprised at all, if true..

She has yeah but it was before they had their problems I think. I imagine she would jump at the chance to get some air time again 😂

Spanish Governments response to the floods has been shocking, have any block countries provided support yet either?

World governments response to the problem that will result in events like this happening again and again is likewise shocking (or insufficient, anyway).

Short term self-interested thinking on both matters.

I was going to bet my friend a pint that Dawn Butler would call Badenoch a coconut within a week but she did it before I even got round to texting

Can’t help but feel that’s another £75m down the swanny in the “smash the gangs” approach.

With every person on a boat a potential gang member ready to fill and expand the reach and stranglehold of those brought over.
And yes it’s been reported that a vast amount that make it over end up doing something within the gangs because they are forced, offered or have no other option.

Targeting the gangs will never work. You need to remove the appeal then the demand will stop.

Fully agree, if it was as easy as chucking money at it we wouldn’t be flooded with drugs, have no safe zones or multiple stabbings up and down the country.

Yep. The war on drugs is a perfect example. Every time a dealer is removed another pops up.

Then perhaps it is indeed time to address the root causes of why so many people feel compelled to migrate, then.

Because living in the UK has more appeal than life in Eritrea for example.

Yep, exactly.

And then the matter becomes one of foreign policy and inequality.

If she does, then Rebecca Vardy needs to get on the blower... imagine what they'd pay to have her on there also. Would pay half of her bills for Rooneys defence.

Why would you want to live in a country that was unappealing to those from third world countries.

If you have kids that walk back from school on their owns ask them to take extra care when walking home as there has been a few attempts from someone to try take children. A man in a silver Honda car has tried to get someone on saffron lane last week and then someone from near granby school and by the sounds of it 1 or 2 others as well.

Some people are just disgusting

At the moment Britain appears to be very attractive to people from poor countries, and quite unappealing to those from richer ones. Not a great reflection on the state of the UK.
