Actually, in hindsight, you can quite worry about him tbh..

He's had a dust up with a player, surely. Look at his lip. He's not smacked himself in the chops.

Needs to chill a bit. I like Pep and know he's a winner, but it's relentless and he's probably best taking time away like Klopp. Talking about self harm is mad, I'm glad he/his team have released a statement to clarify.

I don't know, Vardy did that once. Missed a sitter and gave himself a right punch.

I agree, it certainly seemed out of character for him.

he has released a statement this morning on social media

My son has self harmed I certainly don't find it a subject he should make light of

Did I see the wrong video? All I saw was him say he doesn't harm himself with an awkward laugh

You did see it wrong, he clearly said “I want to harm myself”

The whole thing is ridiculous

I’m glad that it seems you haven’t had to go though any difficulties of this nature on your life and I really hope it stays that way

I do feel for Pep tbf, the most important player in their squad is out injured and they are on a shit run, but **** me he's won everything there is to win and does it over and over again each season... for Man City fans to be giving him stick...well, it makes our fans look like angels.

Pep was joking of course, but it's daft of him to mention that when many people with mental health issues are/have been doing that..

this is why i dont joke about people being drunk because there are real people with an alcohol addiction:brendan:

Fck off.  Everything that is wrong with the premier league.  It will never affect me as ill never go and watch man utd but no concessions for kids??? There may be hundreds if not thousands of kids in manchester want to see their team.. But how many parents are going to shell out 66 quid for a kids ticket?  Fck off.  Just fck off

Ridiculous.

Especially when the extra money this raises would just about pay one day of Antony's wages.

Yep.  More corporate greed.

Part of it is that for some of these rich owners £66 doesn't even register as a sum of money.  I bet they couldn't tell you what a loaf of bread or carton of milk costs.  Slightly off topic but you get the point im making .  Out of touch with  everyday life

Correct, you and I probably wouldn't be in touch either if Billionaires.

What they could do is be smart and realise their main source of income isn't ticket sales and won't make a difference - go and find a new sponsor or commercial deal and leave ticket prices where they are.

We take it for granted now but I genuinely fear for the future of the £30 away ticket cap. I can see more and more teams wanting away with it so these prices that have ratcheted up will spread to away fans too.

I was surprised , but pleased, when it was introduced, and i believe, extended.

But yes, i dont think the cap is here to stay.  There's far more potential rinsing of supporters to be done without it

when I was a teenager I remember having to make an excuse for why I couldn’t go with some lads to norwich away. I just didn’t have the cash for the ticket and the petrol (without the huge prices). They never invited me again as they thought I was making excuses because I didn’t want to go.

Still haunts me. Footballs so expensive and if your family aren’t paying for you, it’s a huge dedication to find a way to afford watching your team.

What’s worse in england, is that even the TV packages are unreasonable. So if you can’t afford to go, you very well might not even be able to afford the tv packages to watch the games that do get shown. If you’re broke, you might just start to lose out on the footy entirely.
