The sort of point we are incapable of getting.

Would have been a good performance followed by a 3-1 defeat

Yep. Think that and our showing at Fulham encapsulate the situation.

Still think Ipswich will have a lot of huff and puff but ultimately fall short and finish 18th.

You really do have to credit McKenna because I’m certain without him most of these players would be hanging around league one. Who is Wes Burns for god sake

If I’m not mistaken 5 out of their starting 11 were playing in League One for Ipswich two seasons ago. Pretty remarkable but also further embarrassment for us that they are above us.

Yet if you listen to the commentators you would think he was prime Maldini

Fair play to Ipswich. We absolutely wouldn’t have got a point in the same game.

Yeah because we lost 2-1 lol

Well, we were set for one yesterdays but our bellend of a RB saw to it that we didn’t!

If Mckenna was our manager he'd be getting pelters for not seeing a game out again.

To be fair, in order to see a game out you actually need to take the lead.

Don’t worry though because we are playing really well apparently.

Which we will see with results in the next 3 games, I look at our next 8 games and with the exception of Arsenal at home on 15th February believe we can get a result in 7/8. Whereas the last 5 games on paper the reality looked more like 1/5 games where we had a chance of getting something.

Genuine question:

Do the likes of Brentford, Fulham, Palace and Charlton etc have many core fans or are large percentages tourists?

In terms of tourists- Fulham do, Charlton did. Don't know about Brentford. Palace I would think are mostly core fans.

Justice done. That Ipswich 2nd was not a penalty. Delap for such a big lad sure flops over a lot.

Cannot have them escape the relegation zone no way no how!

What Ipswich does have is grit and that's something we need more of and certain players stop committing football suicide on a regular basis.

Gotta get all 3 points now at palace. Play like its a cup final

People do know we have accumulated 14 points so far this season. Mighty Ipswich, Wolves and Everton, our closest have no more than 3 points to us. Despite their exceptional fight, determination and superior squads. Crazy that.

The point is that we're still behind them with a shocking inferior goal difference.

Sky Sports: There's your 5 minute review of that incident packed game, now **** off Fulham and Ipswich it's time for Liverpool/Man U.

I would usually agree but I’m quite looking forward to every second of Man Utd getting completely spanked here. It should be put on all channels like the King’s Coronation.

Agreed but we’ve also come off 3 games against far superior opposition. The wolves result is the only game in which we should’ve got something this season and we didn’t.

The next 6 are massive for me.

Next three for Ipswich is fierce - Brighton, Man City and Liverpool - we need to get some points from our next three  for sure. (And yes, I can see it  :scarf: )

We had a chance to go 8 points clear a few weeks ago...and now we're 3 behind.

They're kicking on, we're stagnating.

3 could become 6 or 7 very very quickly
