Ange has been a success everywhere he’s been, other than Tottenham.

It says more about Tottenham, than it does about he if I’m honest. I’d have had him in a heartbeat.

Well it also says something about the level he's previously managed at too.

*I see others have made the same point.

I quite lik Ange. Even if he's binned off by Spurs I hope he sticks around as a pundit

And then when he starts interviewing players I'd want every player to respond with 'great start to the interview mate'

Just seen this on the BBC website.

Nice to see that they’ve already taken a bow to the inevitable…..

I know it's funny to laugh at, but all of the images are just last year's champions, it's been like that for ages.

They're hailed for their on-pitch success, in fairness. Their owner is an extremely successful businessman, investor and gambler, he knows how to make money. No Premier League football club is ever going to be particularly great for it's fans.

Brighton especially are going to find themselves in a situation much like we are where they need to generate as much match day revenue as is physically possible in order to be able to spend as much as possible on the squad to close the gap.

This is maybe the biggest problem of all with FFP and PSR and one thing that doesn't get spoken about nearly enough, it's massively anti-fan. Football clubs outside of the Big Six need to squeeze every single penny they can out of the fans that they have to pump up the income to try and compete.

Fortunately for Bloom, the demographic of his fanbase is a lot more affluent than most in the country outside London so he'll probably be able to push it quite far.

Lots of excellent points here but Brighton did post something like a £120m profit last season. They're so well run that they don't need to squeeze the fans for PSR.

Yet seemingly passing PSR fine

United loading with Debt is the prime example of how not to run a football club and terrible yank owners. This is the kind of thing that needs to be stopped in football. Of course as they are the cartel they will be allowed to find some way out of it. I can only hope the football gods relegate them but even their 3rd team is better than our 1st team.

I know revenues and that is boring as **** and a load of tedious nonsense but it is absolutely insane a club of Man United's stature have conspired to get themselves in that mess. They're absolutely massive.
