Who'd have thought we'll be facing bigger clubs in our midweek games next season than they will lol

Scenes when they have to play Caernaerfon Town at the Racecourse Ground after a season of telling us 'eNjOy WrExhAm AwAy.'

They'll have a 'tantalising' run to the last 16. "It'd be amazing if we won it. Better than Leicester when they won the Premier League!" Or some such bollocks

I hope when each and every one of them goes to sleep at night they have a constant loop of Buanonotte sending their defender to the shops and rolling the ball in their net

I hope we swap places next year, then don't play them again for another decade. Sadly we are so f****d it won't happen... but I live in hope LOL

Chris Sutton telling us that a 1-0 win at Istanbul Başakşehir is 'rolling back the years.'

I was happy for West Ham when they won it a few years ago (especially that little lad who kept getting interviewed) but it was forgotten pretty much the next week. Nothing will ever come close to our League win.

Teams finishing fifth in the league and qualifying for the CL makes me far more uneasy to be honest.

Absolutely.

Would love a tournament when it is literally the champions of each division!

We'll play each other again in the league in two or three years. Either we'll accidentally improve by appointing the right manager and having a decent transfer window or they'll implode under the weight of Marinakis's insanity. Possibly both.

I don't mind multiple teams qualifying from the same division. I'd sooner have the second and third teams from Germany, England and Spain than the champions of San Marino and Gibraltar.

Gibraltar would be the Vardy of away days though haha

Yeah it would be too small of a tournament. Even it was top 2 and then the winners of the FA cup and equivalent across Europe would actually give it some credibility.

Can we get dewsbury hall back. What a waste at Chelsea. We could really use his engine in midfield next season

He's better than the Championship. Someone will pick up a bargain.

Yep.

Some countries have three or four teams capable of competing in the Champions League, some have one or two and most don't have any. Replacing Real Madrid, Inter and Leverkusen with Pafos, Birkirkara and Levadia Tallinn would just torpedo the quality and you'd end up with about three competitive fixtures a season at best as Barcelona beat Zrinjski Mostar 12-0 on aggregate in the semis.

Tonight is Levy's last chance to reach the status of "legendary" owners. If I was him I would just sack Ange and appoint right away one of the following for the final:

- Erik Ten Hag

- Joachim Löw

- Allegri

If only we'd made a decent fist of it this season and ideally either Soton or Ipswich, this season would've seen Spurs and Man U relegated.

How glorious would that have been!?!?!

Missed opportunity.

Yeah I get that but 5 from England is ridiculous. It's hardly a champions league. And we have gained an extra spot due to performance in the competition I believe. So why does another team benefit from that ?? It's a ridiculous rule.

Yeh it's proper fckd me off. If we'd have beaten Man U twice instead of them beating us then things could have looked a lot different. All ifs buts and maybes but if we'd have even attempted to compete, them 2 would have been bang in trouble
