Do commentators know that viewers at home can't see what VAR is looking at?

Commentators can’t see it either but they have the advantage of hearing the VAR speak to the Ref

A very good comeback by the hosts .

Brighton fans are going to feel a bit miffed if they come 8th but miss out on Europe due to Palaces cup success.

Depends on Chelsea now, if Chelsea win the conference and finish top 5, 8th place don’t get European football

Which I can see happening unless they lose to Forest tbh .

Interested to see what Enzo does next week. If he sticks with the second team I actually think Betis have a great chance of pipping them to the trophy.

The recent form table will have Leicester City above Liverpool

We should have had at least a point off them too. If VAR wasn’t a corrupt sack of shit

With a game to go, one of the best ever Liverpool teams who have been lauded over all season, are only 2 points better off than that lucky leicester team who only won it because everyone else was rubbish. 🤪

This year the prem has been a bit banter if you ask me, you have teams like Forest who have been terrible for a few months going into the last day with the potential of a Champions league spot, Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth competing for Europe. The also rans, then the absolute dogshite on loan from the Championship. A few more years of this and people will really lose interest. The standard of Liverpool compared to PSG is miles off.

And they have lost one more game that we did!

Oh right. When they talk about it it sounds like they can see it.

It's been an odd season..

The cluster of clubs in the middle of the league like Brentford, Brighton, Bournemouth are as strong as they've been for ages.. All savvy operators and smart in their own way, all with really decent managers.. Even Palace in 12th can be fun to watch and Glasner is great..

But the top of the table is as weak as it's been for some time and the bottom three, as per last season, have been pathetic.. Really do think if Newcastle and Villa get their summers right they could be in the title conversation going into Spring next year.. My other prediction that definitely won't come to fruition is that West Ham drop and Leeds stay up..

The cycle of the promoted three going straight back down is going to end eventually. If you look at the last two years, it's fairly clear.

Luton - Run on a shoestring. Happy to take the Prem money and put it into their new stadium.

Burnley- Zero pragmatism under Kompany and all too regularly caught in possession.

Sheffield United - Financial mess from the outset.

Us - Terrible managerial appointments, exacerbated by uncertainty over points deductions - which itself led to a very poor window as target after target was missed.

Ipswich- Back-to-back promotions left them playing in the Premier League with the core of the League One runners-up squad.

Southampton- Burnley, but worse. Martin sacked when it was already too late and Juric was an awful replacement.

A club coming up with money to spend, decent pragmatic management and a solid transfer window has every chance. There are numerous clubs who will be vulnerable to a drop-off next season and beyond- Wolves, Forest, West Ham...

It's only been two seasons anyway, lots of pundits talk as if the promoted sides have then been relegated like it's been going on for a decade. 22/23 it was two very established sides in us and Southampton and a Leeds side that had been up for a few seasons that dropped.

Exactly, it's people calling two data points a trend. If it happens again next season though...

So who will be your last 6?

1. Scousers, but dey do dough don't dey dough?

2. Woolwich.

3. Unibrow Brothers.

4. Geordies.

5. The most luckiest and spawniest club in the east midlands who still havent and wont win anything in 45 years.

6. Chelski.

I see Villa losing, reckon the 2nd most successful club in the East Midlands beating Chelski at home.  Think Oasis will win their last 2 and Newcastle will win.

The best thing about this season has been the race for the European spots. Nobody has been able to call it, even going into the final game. Usually everyone knows it's going to be Man City/Man Utd/Arsenal/Chelsea/Liverpool/Spurs but not this season. It's been nice to see a shake up of things and the fact Man Utd/Spurs are closer to the relegation zone is hilarious.

To be perfectly honest neither 8th place or 7th place should warrant European football.  Proves how dumb downed the competitions are now in Europe.

Same as the winner of the Europa League. We're gonna have a team finish near the relegation zone in the Champions League.

Far to many teams not deserving of European Football are going to be playing it.

Yet, laughably, one of either Spurs or Man Utd will still qualify for Europe.  (tis a joke).

But they’ve done what they needed to in Europe to get there - unlike us three years ago.

Not their fault that the PL is so uncompetitive at the bottom to allow them to concentrate their resources
