Decent half, certainly an improvement on the euros in terms of actually getting forward and playing some slick football  one game I know but if we still had Southgate it would be 0-0 or 1-0 Ireland for sure just hoping on a bit of quality to bail him out

Always makes me laugh when the home nations and Ireland feel like they have a chance because of their 'passion' and we turn up and roll them over 

 

Easy to say Southgate wouldn't have done this or that but it was only in tournaments when he went ultra defensive. However good to see TAA starting, he would've pulled out under Southgate.

These days he definitely plays like he's bitter because he's not very good any more.

He was ultra defensive throughout qualifying and nations league the last few years
