He always looked comfortable when he played last season. I think he can be even braver on the ball too. Look forward to him being here next season

That wouldn’t be a surprise re maresca ( could be lazy journalism)

Man City had been linked previously

no doubt our board have made such a pigs ear of running the club that we’ll have to cash in if a decent offer arrives.  In that scenario we’d presumably try and get a season long loan from wherever he goes.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if we get decent offers for him in the summer from the prem. Unfortunately PSR wise it might be we need to move a home grown player on again and this lad will be a fixture in England u21s next year. Coady and Vestergaard next season incoming 🤢

We have got to start keeping these players otherwise we just end up with the dross. As much as it pains me perhaps we will have to let Hermandson go to keep players like Fatwu, Nelson, Alves etc. With salary savings and a few of the rats running a mile we might just be okay PSR wise.

Only 2 years left on his contract, we will need to make a significant profit on two players this summer, given the likelihood many of the wasters we have won’t get moves away, sadly and ironically it could well be that despite all the investment in seagrave for the team, it’s the academy that will be raided yet we will still be left with overpaid clowns with little book value we can’t shift as no one will offer them anywhere near the same wage.

I'm not sure Nelson would bring much in. He's a young CB who has had one good season in a relegation threatened Championship team. It would make much more sense to tie him to a decently paid three year contract with a fvck-off release clause.

Our back 4 choices next season should be Nelson, Okoli, Soutter and Coady. Faes and Vestergaard leaving (please)

That’s what should happen but who takes Vestergaard? - he’s marooned here unless we’ve negotiated a massive drop in salary when we are relegated, with the numpties in charge we have probably given him a pay rise in year 2 of his new contract. Faes we may be able to shift on for a very small book value profit as he probably won’t be on quite as ridiculous a wedge as many others.

Enzo knows his worth. Wouldn't surprise me if he sticks a 5m bid in.

I agree. We will have to take s small fee to be rid of Faes and probably have to pay half of  Vestergaards wages on a free.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Enzo isn't there next season a lot of Chelsea fans not happy with style of play .

Vestergaard has no book valve, because we signed him as a free agent, same as Niddi, we can sell them and make pure profit. Wages for both of them is the issue. I image they’ve both a relegation clause, which would mean a reduction is their wages!

Hate to say it but if he and any of our other highly-coveted Academy players have got any sense they'll be off like a shot to a more professionally-run club.

Very true unfortunately. If you're actually there, you must fully understand how bad it is. Any young player with any common sense is probably looking at their best move to progress their career elsewhere because to just hang around and let this lot look after you only screams stagnation.
