In fairness, although he didn't impress in the limited cameo's, he didn't really get an opportunity to showcase his worth to get a contract. He filled a gap whilst Daka was out but wasn't required. No hard feelings.

He didn't get much game time at all, but must've been piss poor in training to not even warrant a bench slot at times

Presumably Palace hold all the cards in terms of the financial side of things and can hold us to the full amount if they want.

Not sure how it would work on the admin side of things in terms of registering him as a loan player if they refused to take him back.
