Yes, that's what I'm suggesting. As he's never in the match day squad, then still paying him whether registered on not makes no difference. I appreciate he wouldn't be able to be called upon is Vardy or Daka were injured, but from what I've seen of him, I'd rather use Ayew as a centre forward ahead of him, if required.

That only makes sense if he was taking someone elses place. Otherwise, you may as well register.

I don’t actually think that’s true. It’s the same stuff that was spouted about Kasper.

A young footballer who’s proving to be too good for the championship always gets valued around that price.  Fans might have more of a hype for him but I actually think he’s going to be a very good footballer in his own right.

To be fair, I’m basing it on last season when in the games against us I thought he was bang average and got dragged both times. I’m not saying he’s not a good footballer at all.

He scored 7 goals in 17 starts last season  you call that crap and signed a new 2 year contract

He has 18 goals in 99 Premier League games.

Averaging about 6/7 goals a season.

That is absolutely crap.

Yes I agree, but it would also free up a space if he wasn't registered, so that would allow us to strengthen the squad. Let's be honest, Edouard offers nothing.

Well of course - if we needed the space then dont register him (we did this with Mendy a few seasons back), but are we really going to get that many incomings?

I thought Latte Lath was going there? I doubt they will be in the market for two strikers.

Might be the cheaper and easier deal and let’s be honest, it’s his level he would repeat what he did at Celtic in that league

Atlanta have also shown an interest in Krzysztof Piatek, Kyogo Furuhashi & Callum Wilson as well as signing Cayman Togashi a few days ago.

Latte Lath & Edouard are the younger options

Bit harsh, he blocked Fatawus shot with his face against Bournemouth. He offers the ability to be useless at every level.

Do you have to re-register the squad in January as most clubs have new signings? If so, whilst it would be a waste of money, could they tell him he's not going to be registered and suggest he asks Palace to find him another club. Worst case scenario we pay for someone who can't play, but as he's never in the matchday squad, what's the difference?

We have a loan contract. If we dont register him, we still contractually obliged to pay for him even though we can't play him because he is registered.

We could but he would still be a prem loan so would not help us get another loan player from the prem.

Yes but how many are  sub appearances?  Last season he got 7 in 17 starts which is decent If you are coming on in the 10 minutes  of matches its not really fair to judge

Can answer  my own question 38 appearances  off the bench so 18 goals in 61 starts not great but certainly  not terrible

We had one space in the square anyway cos we only registered 24. Fatawu is out so that's 23. And Hamza on his way is 22. So this only comes into play if we've 4 players incoming and no one else leaving.

I didn't realise that Hamza was definitely leaving.  Does Fatawu count as one of the 25 due to his age? I'd rather bring Popov back from loan than play Eduoard - total waste of a place.

Yeah Fatawu wasn’t included in the 25 man squad due to his age

Any chance we can sneak him onto the Palace coach after the game and get rid of the useless waste of space.

Depends if he's finished his shift in the shop by then.
