Thank f@ck for that.
I can carry on singing ‘35 years and you’ve won **** all’ to my tree supporting work colleague.

Hope that song gets airing when we play them at their place soon

No, it doesn't. But since the tradition of playing games at neutral stadia other than Wembley stopped, we have see multiple decent stadia with capacities above 40,000 either built or renovated.

Etihad

Old Trafford

Anfield

Bramley Moore (from next season)

St James's Park

Stadium of Light

Villa Park

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Emirates

London Stadium

Stamford Bridge

Genuinely no reason why there can't be semi-finals at neutral grounds.

The one thing that the vast majority of those grounds don't have is the sheer number of VIP seats that Wembley has.

It's got something daft like £15k seats designated for VIP. No ground in the country can get close to that. The only grounds that get close would be Spurs' ground and the upcoming United ground.

The reason games are held at Wembley is because of the massive amount of money games there can bring in. It's completely wrong but it is what it is.

Deluded. I know we should grabbed Champions League spot in 2021 but would never swap for our cup win. That was a lottery win not just another ticket to enter

You just know they’ll finish 5th to sneak in too.
