Wingers! Mavididi isn't at the level, and McAteer certainly isn't. We really struggled in the final third today, and really miss the pace and directness if fatawu

Yep me too. No way the club buys what we need to win games. Im done now. If something good was going to happen the first 15 days would of been more telling.

We need exactly what we did in the summer:

CB

LB

DM

Winger

Centre Forward

The fact we bought in Okoli, Skipp, BDCR & Ayew in the summer and none of them fix any of those issues show what a shambles that window was.

To stand any slim chance of survival we need a striker, a winger and a CB.  All of whom come in and make an almost immediate impact.  On a limited budget.  The best scouting team in the world would struggle.

We've got Glover overseen by Rudkin.

I'm really worried given our recent windows we will sign up dead wood on long term contracts.

We have to strike a balance between addressing team needs, but they have to be young and cheap and be willing to play in the championship next season.

Have to look to the championship or abroad. Please no more premier league cast offs.

People banging on about signing young cheap and willing to play in the Championship. We are trying to sell Cannon, surely he fits into this category. Doesn’t make sense the things that go on at this club! Clueless!

For us to write the team off at this point is in no way the right thing for us as fans to be doing. We need to back the players and the manager like we always have.

We’ve survived it before; we can do it again. Just to enlighten those fans who haven’t supported the club since before 2015 sitting on here professing to be the oracle of professional football, give your heads a wobble.

Given our situation in the Summer, the club planned for us to be slapped with a points deduction therefore didn’t spend anything like what we all seem to believe we should of because ‘we’re Leicester City’. We lose our manager and a key player in a very short space of time and Plan A clearly wasn’t to appoint Steve Cooper and in many fans minds waste money on the likes of Ayew and Skipp, or loan Edouard to warm our bench. The club were bracing themselves for the worst, as it’s happened, we’ve got a pretty good legal team.

So Coopers given the boot and the actual plan has come into play in terms of RVN and those in the club have commented on how much of a culture change there is, let’s have it right, this isn’t going to change overnight, the up aboves need to do the job they’re paid for of course, but everyone’s hitting the panic button before the windows over. We have to remember we are 19th in the table, in the modern game who’s got the balls to scrap it out?

We’ve got some dross on the books still, players who are more concerned with their own personal career than that of the club, as far as I’m concerned, don’t let the door hit you on the arse on the way out. I think we’ve got some lads who are committed but just not making the grade and players who previously have been players we’ve all probably raved about, but they just aren’t up to the task anymore for whatever reason.

You also factor in Ricky P, Fatawu, Wilf and more recently Mads being out injured has a huge impact on the squad, all important players to the team.

Rumours flying about with some sub-par Premier League players being offered to us, it doesn’t give us much confidence, but I trust the process that we can sort it out, it’s bleak, but it’s not over by a long shot.

If you look at his goal scoring record in the championship it isn’t that great, 10 goals (4 penalties) and one game where he scored 4. Massively skews the data. We want a consistent goalscorer, but someone who can pull themselves about which he can’t

Somehow persuade a top drawer, strong, physical CB with some measurable degree of pace to come here, we are fielding liabilities and shipping avoidable goals, the leak has to be plugged (once the RB one is resolved). I don't know who but top clubs are likely to want to retain their squad depth and not let anyone go, Spurs have their injury crisis, lots would be off the pay scale, just need someone in the mould of Huth or Evans who has been there, seen it, done it, isn't phased. It's football not root canal dentistry, the state of our tunnel line up last night, I get being focused but it looked like some of them needed shoving out onto the pitch, clearly over anxious despite having a luxury training ground and every bit of support and preparation money can buy.

We're going to waste this Fulham game on Saturday without further players in as well and we face a mountain to climb to stay up.

The lack of proactiveness is a fair criticism of our club IMO. We're not decisive enough and We're in a world of trouble.

There is an element of risk taking in business and we dont seem to take any.

We have at least two players who look likely (by no means certain) to leave the club for fees this window. Of course, things change and that might not happen. It is evident and based on previous transfer windows, we will wait for these sales before making any moves.

The problem is, with our predicament and issues, here is where you take the risk. Make the signings, if the sales come off, great, if not, we face the consequences which is likely a fail of PSR.

The reality is we are doing nothing - AGAIN. And the impact of that is just as bad, if not worse than the PSR fail.

This is evident behavious of someone who has been over promoted and not been in a decision making position before.

What we need is to offload the highest  earners and preparing the youngsters for the Championship . Don’t waste more money eying to survive . It’s over .

Talk of selling Cannon is mad . He is proven goal  scorer at that level .

It was the same in 2023; Tete and Souttar came in late, VK mid Jan. It's a pathetic shambles. Signings should have been identified in December and ready in early Jan; no excuses, Ipswich had players ready to go within days of the window opening.

Not having this. We spent £80m in the summer. £45m of that was on Skipp, Ayew and Okoli. The issue is not that we haven't spent any money in recent years, it's that we've spent quite a lot of money incredibly poorly with no coherant recruitment strategy.

I know we did well in the championship last time around but starting with 10 players is a bit cocky
