Cannon gone. Hamza very nearly gone. The smart ones on here have roughly worked out the room we have with regards to PSR. Surely SURELY we get some bids in this week.

Tbf, we've only really thought about what Cannon and Hamza free up assuming we're looking for a net 0 January.

What we haven't considered is that maybe we need a net 0 post-August season.

We might need the savings from Hamza and Cannon to offset sacking Cooper and putting something away to potentially replace RVN if they go full panic stations.

Then of course there's the losses relegation would bring.

We're ultimately all just guessing. It'll come down to the age old toss up, do you risk investing to stay in the league and what you save from staying up makes what you spend worth while? Or do you cut your losses and brace for impact?

Either way, I'll be amazed if we do much more in the next few days. Probably a winger on loan at most.

I think I agree with you. Or we can further inflate the wage bill and add the OX to the ranks!

Tariq Lamptey would be a good move if the rumours are true

Would it? We’ve hardly got any cash and we’re spending money on a position that doesn’t need to be spent on.

Got to be worth  look at Esteve and/or Egan/Riley at Burnley. 20 clean sheets. Esteve seems the bedrock. 29 games no yellows and involved in all 20 clean sheets.

Definitely think Esteve is the stand-out of the two. Doubt they'd sell but he'd be great.

Stats are fun.... also conceded 33 in 16 games with 6 yellows in the Prem back end of last season.

I'm not writing him off, he's young, but probably best we look at Prem stats in a struggling team given our current situation?

Woyo is an unknown entity and the jury has been out on VK and JJ all season. Perhaps sensible to look in other departments if Ricky P can stay fit.

I'd happily cut short Facundo's loan & get McAtee in now that BL no longer after him as they signing Buendia, sadly think we'll miss out on him as Man C seems to be opening to selling him as well as doing loans.

I would of loved mcatee, covers both right and centre just like Buonanotte. He arguably would be better suited to us right now given Buonanotte is not as highly rated by RVN.

Would still be a good loan to obligation if we stayed up if we had the loan space

Six days left until the window closes and the EFL Championship welcomes us with a strong embrace.

Send Edouard back. Get Rashford in.

Just a six-month loan. No obligation. No option. Just work with Ruud again (who picked him consistently in his short interim spell in charge of Man Utd).

Re-assess at the end of the season. Maybe another 12-month loan if we stay up, Ruud stays on and Rashford enjoyed it.

Only a semi-serious suggestion because of wage issues, etc. but if no other move (for him or us) materialises before the end of the window, it could be a move that works for all parties.

No chance in hell Palace would take him back without a high offer for a permanent transfer, unfortunately.

Incredible business: millions received in a loan fee and many tens of thousands of pounds off their weekly wage bill, plus a open squad place for them to bring on Nketiah…for nothing in return.

We all know our transfers are done very much under the radar which is about the only thing Rudkin does well. I would expect a European loan for a wide player as a guess and we will just have to make Edouard work somehow.

Should try to buy for cheap with a buy back/sell on % tbh

Genuinely can’t see it.

No I can't either, do you think RVN will walk away ,he was promised funds but not got them I do feel for him as the board have lied yet again

We weren’t  signing one anyone, let alone close to signing anyone in this transfer window. If RVN was promised funds in this transfer window and we don’t sign anyone, he will leave. I don’t want him leave, but it would serve us right!. Well done to the board, you’re fu$king useless and you’ve let the manager and fans down again😡

We will end up making a £20m bid for Ferguson on deadline day, it be rejected and we have nowhere to go…..

If we bid then we need to bid today and NOT on the last day, Fergusan is injury prone and am not sure that we would even bid for him but we need to bid today. TBH it is getting us nowhere waiting
