Pace, power, and technique up top as an alternative to the GOAT:

Ange-Yoan Bonny

P.S. also need a quick, strong up and down right-back, a commanding centre-back, a box-to-box midfielder (preferably tall and physical - Yaya regen would do nicely) , and a right winger please Rudkin.

Percy says a winger, centre back and no. 2 goalkeeper are the priorities.

Bit worrying a RB hasn't been explicitly mentioned. Otherwise I think I agree, as Jakob deserves to go out on loan as a first choice for half a season, once Mads is back.

Great we're keeping Buonanotte though!

Agree a RB is essential.

Minimum 2 defenders / if CB can also cover left back position.

Unless Hermanson's injury is worse than feared I'm not sure we can justify buying a player this window to be a bench warmer.

We need a CB, RB, RW and really another striker as a minimum, albeit that could be a loan now Edouard has gone back.

The chances of us making three signings let alone four in Jan are not great, so should one of these be a back up goalie?

Right back will be a priority,  we had so many opportunities to build down that side wasted by JJ. I loved him pre injury but hes clearly not the same player.

Probably because if we make it specific we're in dire need of a RB, our targets get added desperation tax

article looks like it was also done least a week or 2 ago in some respects, as on the Southampton one, it says about Ronnie Edwards interest from Sheff Weds

and hes gone QPR on loan for the rest of the season.

think we'll look to at least get 5 in,

and at least Facundo aint going either according to the artcile

That is a fair point. You could suggest that of declaring the other positions, but yes, maybe declaring interest in a right back might hike up prices.

Alternatively, it means Ruud/the club are happy to have just the one, currently underperforming, RB in Justin for the rest of the season. Or at least, based on there not being any news on Ricardo's return, I don't think?

Thats my thoughts, I wonder if we will cash in, and as you say use the funds or part of the funds to help clear any PSR issues and also finance our January business. If we clear £50m we could use £25m+ for PSR and clearing his remaining book value and the remainder would allow us to spend anywhere around £80-100m if required.

If we only buy a RB and Kristiansen gets injured we are ****ed (I’m not even that big a fan). Need two fullback, centre back, winger and striker before we even start looking  at a No.2 goalie.

You can only cash in when an offer has been made, and we haven't heard anything and no other clubs have been saying they're in for him.  GK doesn't seem a priority position for those likely to come in for him in the Summer.

Chelsea need ball playing CB's first and foremost. Man City need a Rodri replacement/alternative, there's no rush for a keeper, the title is already done..  Who else needs him?  Bayern maybe.  Now? Nah.

Should've tried for Kevin Denkey

27 goals and 2 assists in 38 games last season for Cercle Brugge

10 goals and 1 assist in 17 league games so far this season for them as well

Joined Cincinatti today ffs

Odsonne Edouard will have his loan deal scrapped prematurely and will return to Crystal Palace, but there is no prospect of fellow loanee Facundo Buonanotte going back to Brighton as he has passed the required number of appearances.

Leicester are another club with PSR concerns, but money will be made available to Ruud van Nistelrooy. A new No 2 goalkeeper, centre-back and forward will be the priorities. A winger could also be a target because Abdul Fatawu is out for the season.

I suppose we would still have a good chunk of the money we tried to pay for Fotis even after whatever we have paid for Edouard and sacking Cooper

To be fair JJ played his best football for us as a LB, could be an option as a back up on either side for VK and new rb

That money was potentially spent on El Khannouss?
