hejammy Posted 16 January Posted 16 January No real noise about anyone else really - is Woyo going to be the only signing? 1
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 16 January Posted 16 January Perhaps it's time to test Genoa's resolve to keep Morten Frendrup. We need an elite defensive CM (someone who's not broken and declining like Ndidi). Winks and Soumare offer zero protection. 1

Even their bloody scouting team is better than ours 1
EnderbyFox Posted 16 January Posted 16 January Are we likely to be hit with an embargo once we go down? Definitely need to sign players this window with the championship in mind.

coolhandfox Posted 16 January Posted 16 January Clearly with the noise around Hamza, Okoli and Cannon we need to shift players to bring some in.
henry56 Posted 16 January Posted 16 January Bilal added August 2025 . v Coventry ( H) Stolarczyk Pereira Nelson Souter JJ Fatawu Winks NdidI Mavididi Canon subs new GK Coulabali new CB Coady Alves Braybrook new CF mcAteer Skipp New players need to be young and proven at this level Sell Mads Faes Westergaard Kristianson Daka Should ensure finances are sorted and be enough to get us straight back

We are somehow both at the same time. We go entire summer transfer windows scraping pennies together then whenever we have any leg room we throw it all away on mediocrity. 1

Good find, but Lille will probably give him a shot as he’s currently doing the business on loan 😕 Plenty of good defensive midfielders knocking about though, who could be seen as a long term alternatives to Ndidi, but my head says it’s a position we probably won’t strengthen this month 😕 1
Claudio Fannieri Posted 16 January Posted 16 January 7 hours ago, izzymuzzet said: Not having this. We spent £80m in the summer. £45m of that was on Skipp, Ayew and Okoli. The issue is not that we haven't spent any money in recent years, it's that we've spent quite a lot of money incredibly poorly with no coherant recruitment strategy. Absolutely bang on 👏🏼👏🏼
Claudio Fannieri Posted 16 January Posted 16 January I agree we need to be looking at high end EFL players who can come in hit the ground running if relegated but also have the potential to be decent in the prem. Over the next couple of windows I would be more than happy to see us go for players such as - Alfie Gilchrist - been on loan at Sheff United and it’s time to move Riccy P on in the summer Jordan Beyer - to play alongside Nelson Ben Sheaf - as we will no doubt lose Winks, Soumare and Wilf Anis Mehmeti - give us genuine options and competition for Mavididi Kwame Poku - has looked a real talent at Peterborough

It will be the repeat of other years we will want more than people want to pay, we will probably end up with Okoli going on loan for peanuts, Cannon and Hamza stay. We could have sold Iversen last summer but we wouldn’t sell him at the right price and after a two years of consuming wages he will leave for free in the summer 2
les-tah Posted 16 January Author Posted 16 January (edited) Some attacking threat would be nice and a new CB. But we wont because this foookin club despises us and is ran by incompetence at the highest level i dont even think there has been one rumour about a winger either. Edited 16 January by les-tah
Pliskin Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Kees Smit is someone to monitor. Starting to look excellent for AZ.

Pliskin Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Other than his fighting skills, there’s something about Chair I like. He’s a nasty little shit with a bit of something. Wonder if he is worth a tickle. 1
