It'll either be a sports bar on my fire stick in the room.

I think you have to be a special kind of bellend to be a Forest Fan or live in Nottingham. Most of them are insufferable, dunno if I have just been unlucky but dealing with folk across the midlands daily they just seem to be a mouthy brash bunch.

You say that I have two of them in my Birmingham office. They also have a disproportionate number of them working in the media. Anyway you can be assured you won't see a Forest fan drinking in Leicester tonight bar possibly the Barley Mow/Counting House Edited 25 October 2024 by CosbehFox

Pliskin Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 (edited) There is an undoubted rivalry between us and Forest, both do care about beating one another…. But naturally their main rivals are Derby, but in the absence of them, us and Forest will likely become close rivals again. In terms of recent history, Forest don’t come close to what we’ve achieved, obviously….. in the modern era of football, I don’t think any club in history has had a better decade than we’ve had. We’ve achieved things we had no right to do for a club of our size and we less achieved the impossible. Here and now we’ve made some catastrophic errors that have lead to a demise as impressive as our rise….. however, I still think this team has a lot of quality in it, and once it’s regained full confidence and has some consistency about it we will be able to compete with most teams outside of the top ten. David Hankey Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 (edited) Is this the 'East Midlands El Clasico'? 2-0 home win would be great. Edited 25 October 2024 by David Hankey 1

The one decent F***t fan I know told me his Grandma used to take him to matches when he was a nipper - she was a lifelong fan. And she told him that Leicester v F***t was always the big game in the East Mids. Things changed when Clough managed both Deby and F***t and the rivalry grew after that and has always stuck. I lived in Notts for 12 years and can't add anything to what everyone else has said about what a strange, deluded fanbase they have. And no matter what they tell you, they bloody love playing us and get very, very excited about our fixtures. 3

Hi mate I do agree with u to an extent however we had every right to win what we won as we were the best at that particular time. I work all of England and hate it when I’m in certain parts ( London / Manchester )when them silly fans on site say , Oh yeh but the season Leicester won the league nobody else turn up. WRONG ANSWER, Leicester won the league in my opinion because we played outstanding football and nobody had the same equal amount of ability to stop what we were doing week in week out , as a FOX 🦊 the memories will live with me forever, we deserved it mate no doubt about that . Have to agree that since we’ve failed to build on the platform that we got to, look when all the big teams win the league what do they do the following season?? They invest to strengthen the team & that’s exactly what we should have done , strengthen and try to maintain, it’s the only way to go. Currently I believe we have a good squad of players however in January in needs strengthening, TOP get ur hand in ur pocket mate. 🦊 1

Exactly true I’m currently working with a bunch of plumbers from Notts today & I was working in Notts centre the season we got relegated ( the stick I got was unreal ) They love playing us just as much as we do.
