Forest plebs reckon they have Cooper sussed and it will be a walk over

I’m not sure what that exactly means as I have no fear of “Forest plebs” having us sussed.

If, however, it means that Nuno has more tactical nous than Steve Cooper … well … yeah … :ermm:

Ok so I reckon my son's football team manager can have Cooper sussed out so it's no real biggy that Nuno will have him sussed out - the bigger question is do they have Vardy, Fatawu and Facundo sussed out - cause IF Fatawu does start -we've got a much better chance of getting something from the game.

Yes you'd be quite chipper if Cooper turned up as opposition manager for your lads under 11 game.

It's whether he'll get close enough to getting our best side out - Surely even clueless Cooper can now get 10 out of 11 correct and give us a chance?

So we are getting a bit of confidence now and all the defenders know each other so we should be able to go on the attack a bit more which surely opens the door for either Riccy P or fats starting?

But it’s Cooper that’s our manager..

Riccy isn't starting. Just don't see it.

Think he will go Cooper formation in the first half, and likely start Ayew as he will see Forest as more of a threat than Southampton.

He knows the Maresca formation works now so can revert to that if he needs a change, but i think he is likely to go with his preferred option to begin with.

Yes I agree with this, it will be more or less the starting lineup against Southampton and then he'll change it up after we're 2 down hoping for a repeat of the Southampton game. Just beyond belief how he doesn't see that defensively our issues all come from JJs side and Fatawu brings so much more to our side when he plays. If he does make these 2 changes then I will give him the benefit of doubt. If he doesn't and we lose the game then I just can't see how anyone can feel that he is the right person for the job.

There was a fight about who's honesty flags were better - turns out the Forest lot just stole ours and painted them red

Unfortunately, I think you're right.

I also worry that he might use the Maresca formation but have Ndidi/Winks as the double pivot like second half last week, not realising the role of having a right-back or a centre-back being the one to step into midfield in possession and just going straight 3241 all game, even without the ball.

Fair few scuffles on the way back to the station/ outside the ground etc

The cup game at their place kicked off all over Nottingham centre pre match

nah suspect we might only see like 1 change, with Ayew probably coming in for Bilal

All he has to do is play Fatawu Buonanotte and Mavididi and not drop one of them. If he starts them he will have the fans behind him from KO. If it doesn’t work with them at least he gave it a go from the start. If Fatwau is on the left then he might as well not play.

I’m hearing rumours a certain little Portuguese hottie might be in line to start … maybe a change of system after the second half last week :fc:

Heard the same thing mate. Along with both Mavididi and Fatawu on the wings...

Ricky starting! I'm his biggest fan, but I'm not sure it even a good idea considering the game time/fitness he's had. You'd expect Ricky to be a little off the pace. I'm OK with Copper but he has buggered Ricky about to the point where it's prob not an option now.

Midfield or defence? You could play Riccy as an 8/10 and he'd not look out of place.

I've been told that Justin will move to LB. Ricardo back to Inverted RB. Winks & Ndidi in middle. Buonanotte as a 10/advanced midfielder. Mavididi and Fatawu on wings. Rest of team is the same as before.

Person who told me could very well be wrong. He's not a Leicester fan (if that's worth anything).

Time will tell. But this would please almost everyone if true.

That's the stella line up. Let's bloody go for it and try and get the game out of sight before we go back into our shells.

Although what a game to put in a full 90 minute performance from the off.

"Leicester City are in dreamland now"

I really hope he does it as it’s No lose situation for him to try it tonight - either it works and everybody lauds that they’ve been right since day 1 and we should always have been playing this way OR he does it and we play it like we did against milwall and Plymouth and Bristol city last year and it’s crap and everyone can stop bloody moaning and let him get on with managing the team

This is it. No one is saying Derby aren't their main rival but the denial of 'not caring about Leicester' just seems strange.

Much easier on them to be rivals with Derby - after all, when did Derby last win anything?
