splinterdream Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 the key to getting something out of these games is to utilise the bench, we just don't do that, it's something other managers do very well
sharpylcfc Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 This will be similar to the cup game with a heavy defeat I think.
phoneticerror Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 Ruud still in charge for this I’m delighted to see. Would rip arms off for a draw. 1

Soumare should be played between the defensive and attacking midfielder. Ndidi is poor in the attacking role. Buonanotte however has arguably been our best player so why put Ndidi there at all? 1

moore_94 Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 The cup game showed even with their first team we should still be able to get at their defence Hopefully we don't gift them any goals this time as we might then actually give ourselves a decent chance of getting a result 2
FosseSpark Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 we need to go a new way until Jan. Hermansen Faes Vestegaard Okoli Ricardo Winks Ndidi Kristiansen Buona Vardy Ayew El Khannous, Mavididi, Fatawu for the change up on 60. Skipp, Justin if we need to go more defensive.

But a draw could very much be achievable. I agree. Tuesday night was their first team against our reserves, so we can't really take anything from that. 1

iancognito Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 They're the worst United side since the one that got relegated in the 70s. No leaders, no ideas, no identity. So they'll obviously win 3-1.
OadbyBlue Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 Hermansen Ricardo Faes Okoli Kristiansen Soumare Winks Fatawu Buonanotte Mavididi Ayew
FoxTimmy2 Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 This is the worst Man Utd side since Alex Ferguson left, I could see us nick a point here, don't think we're good enough to defend a 0-1 lead.

Not a chance bud Man U sadly have turned a corner and with a new manager coming in they will sweep us aside easily comfortable Man U win sadly 1

A) we’re pretty much always in games (in the league at least) B) Amorim plays a particular way, that is going to take time to bed in. 1
Wymsey Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 They'll probably get a controversial penalty, or they make a red-card challenge only for it to be just a booking..

Leicester_Loyal Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 Don't think this will be as easy as some are saying, reckon we could nick a point. I'm going for 1-0 United though.
BillyFOX12 Posted 3 November 2024 Posted 3 November 2024 United decided to rest Anthony Taylor for this game, should be possible to grab a point here. 1 1
