It just shows a total lack of diligence to keep chasing a bloke who most likely turns us down AGAIN.

 

We should have an ever evolving shortlist of realistic managers. Whenever we do sack a manager it’s a haphazard approach afterwards - it’s never planned out well.

He wasn’t given time in my opinion, but maybe his attitude since; especially if he was thinking he could be emgland manager means he thinks he is elite and that isn’t a good thing. So I get the pros and cons with getting him in

That's were I sit with him, he's manager that's got a lot of hype for little reason. Maybe you could appreciate his time at Brighton, turning from a struggling relegation to regular top ten finishes with a modest budget. What doesn't help is that Di Zerbi went in there and took to a new level of pushing for european football qualifiying for europa league. Same for Swansea, year after he left Cooper went in there and got them to a play off final. Maybe he's good at building and developing clubs. Chelsea was wrong because, they didn't need building they needed to main their champions league status and target the league title. Challenge too hard for Potter, plus dealing with world class players there ego's.

Its what we were aiming for though. Premier league experience. Survival experience. Same mandate that got Dean Smith the job, Puel and why Marsch was considered. Its unimaginative and lazy and reeks of a club that dont have their own ideas

Guys even when he does go, we are not getting a stylish manager from the continent  - these ****ers who own us have no idea who they are. Moyes is going to be snapped up by Wolves or Palace - whoever blinks first. My money is on Palace. 
 

They’ll leave it too late and hire an absolute embarrassment. To be able to hire and improve like Bournemouth, like Villa, like Brighton is by putting the hard yards in. Studying everything. We have a lazy owner and in turn a lazy DOF. There is a reason a club goes from 8th to relegation in one season and no “hardworking owner” or hardworking DOF oversees that.

It hurts to say it but the club isn’t run well anymore, trust me I don’t like bringing it up but it all fits, since Vichai sadly passed we haven’t been the same. Top he is clearly showing his inexperience when running a football club
