I mean come on, they are Dutch.  They are better looking than us, nicer than us, they have a wonderful liberal democracy, they speak multiple languages.  We have a duty to mock their English accents.

Agree the Dutch are generally lovely but they can be hilariously blunt. Was chatting with a Dutch friend of a friend about the Masters course I was studying for at the time and he listened quietly before asking "what's the point of that?"

My father used to say ‘a Dutchman is just a Scot with all the generosity removed’

Top had no plan. Ruud is recently available in the news saying he wants a job in the UK.  People bet on him.

We were interested in him I the summer. That would suggest there’s a plan.

RVN to come in and bench Vardy for breaking his record. Leicester get relegated due to their lack of goals!

heard it all here first!

This would be an unprecedented and probable unrepeatable statistic for a player and manager....

Apart from betting odds which are not relevant is there any firm evidence that RVN is in the frame more than anybody else?

If RvN has done his due diligence on us, he will know that both Rodgers and Maresca complained about being misled about our financial situation. Given that RvN quit PSV because he didn't feel he would be backed in the transfer market, I'd imagine he'd want very strong reassurances on this front before signing for us. It wouldn't surprise me greatly if talks collapsed at the last stage as they apparently did with Potter in the summer.

If we appoint Ruud we need to be aware that if he is remotely successful, he will be off to Man Utd at the first opportunity. And they go through managers every 2 seasons.

The first time Amorim wobbles and we’re flying under the Dutchman, it will be ‘get Ruud in’ from all the media / pundits

At least we will be flying, so no problem and LCFC a more attractive proposition for a top manager

Would assume the next manager is a name that comes out of nowhere like usual with Leicester.

I'm hearing Ruud is set to be confirmed this day. He's just down at HR doing his 'right to work' checks.

Yes that's right, Carlos de Cicaball from Guatemala United.

Can't see any flights coming into East Midlands from Manchester direction at the moment

Wrong airport, if anyone is coming in via plane.

Based on previous signings anyway 😉

I wonder where that would leave us

Presume it’s done and club will just be waiting for the prime social media window to announce it.

That window will be taken by the attempts to sell a VIP card for Thailand.
