If successful, I think Corberan would stick around longer than RVN. If RVN did well, I think he'd do an Enzo and jump ship. Perhaps Corberan would too, who knows. I think we have to accept if we get a manager who does well here, Leicester is just a stepping stone for them. I would like to see Corberan given a go, although I'd be happy with RVN.

Where would he jump ship? Unless a top 6 premier league managerial position becomes available, I think he would stay for the foreseeable with us.

I think the Potter issue is the money still owed to him by Chelsea.

He'd have to lose a big chunk of cash to rip up that contract or we'd have to make up that shortfall.

Let Chelsea keep on paying him, the cnuts😆

I’m glad there’s nobody that’s been linked yet that everyone thinks would be a disaster. Happy with most who are being mentioned

Lee Carsley? :teehee:

Ruud would also be in a great position for loaning  a few of the UTD academy players.

Or would recognise we have some talented academy players here who could make the step up.

Fred Rutten and Andre Ooijer were his assistants - both also left PSV once that season finished

I don’t believe either of them are in jobs at the moment

Do people not keep up?

Loads still talking about Potter/Moyes but RL said yesterday that neither are of any interest to the club. Total silence from Moyes and Potter apparently "distancing himself" (ie the media making out that he doesn't want it as opposed to us not being interested) seems to bear this out.

Personally think RVN is a done deal although wouldn't be surprised if someone not previously mentioned suddenly rocks up.

If true what is being said re Top/Rudkin then would be more than happy to see a new DoF. The talk of Top seeking advice from a former manager post relegation, might point to NP?

Carsley has a much better pedigree than some names mentioned. Improved every team he worked for, So clearly a good Coach.

A winner with the England under 21s which is what got him the Senior job albeit tempory. Again qualified as top of the group.

Clearly looking for a chance to show what he can do.

I agree with this, but have no problems and all with this scenario. If either manager successfully uses us to get a bigger club then it will have been a fantastic apointment.(Vincent Kompany situation excluded)

We have to understand it will always happen if we are doing well and this is why we need plans in place to mitigate.

Yes also true, But we're in need of some high level of Skill like Facundo.  Ut'd have plenty of top talent just waiting for a chance.

Remember Pearson bringing in Drinkwaterwater and Matty James.

Its a huge positive that he seems arsed again, but this is weird. I don't want the owner to have a major input in recruitment. I want him to hire a competent DoF / Head of Recruitment to do that job.

You just keep looking pretty and leave the real decisions to men like Top.
