Of course they're annoyed. They probably want to see us relegated. Cross we followed their example of sacking him before Christmas to give us a better chance of staying up.

They knew how shite he was and that by the time we sacked him it' be too late. 

 

They have a thread called 'Why Steve Cooper will always be the man' - Says absolutely everything you need to know about those absolute tw*ts up the road .

The difference is, our expectations have moved up a notch now from theirs. 

 

Cooper did the impossible by making them a semi relevant club for the first time in decades. They were more than happy to stink the PL out and just make up the numbers while singing away to Mull of Kintyre and lauding it up in their 'Main' stand that looks like our old East stand after an earthquake. 

 

We're looking for higher targets than that these days.

One of them just called into talksport saying how angry he was with Leicester for sacking Cooper. The bloke was nearly in tears!

Pretty sure they sacked him when they were in a nearly identical position to where we are now? And he's supposed to be a club legend there lol

 

Edit- pretty much. And that's with fans who loved him and credit in the bank for their first promotion in about 25 years, plus survival. No idea why they're getting their knickers in a twist about us binning him.

Anyone who has conversed with a Forest fan recently (it helps if you speak slowly and avoid big words) will know that they are absolutely obsessed with us. They have been for a number of years.

 

The 'rivalry' they have with Derby is nothing more than a crutch that both clubs use to hark back to the days when they used to be relevant and Forest-Derby was a game that meant something outside of the East Midlands. 

 

Derby are nothing to them now. Hence why they are utterly, almost pathologically, obsessed with Leicester.
