I don't think they will sack him.

Whilst the club is being owned by a spinless child not wanting to upset his best mate Rudkin.

Who in turn is the ring leader of the rest of the incompetent board members, that over a number of years have all contributed in landing us in this mess and with no accountability or accepting responsibility.

Sacking RVN so quickly after Cooper just hi-lights their incompetence further in actually appointing them both, and non of clowns wants to publish, acknowledge or hi-light those fact to the world.

The hi-profile sacking on Sky Sports of RVN is not the he publicity they want. They want to continue under the radar as much as possible hiding their mismanagement of the club like they have been doing so for a number of years.

I've just watched the goals back and the third is particularly bad from a tactical perspective. If the midfield isn't putting any pressure on the ball, your defence has to drop off. Instead we're putting zero pressure on the ball and playing a high line which is a recipe for the disaster.

That's something that should be basic but clearly whatever the players are being told isn't right.

The high line approach isn't working. And teams know what we are doing and just waiting to counter

Maybe time for a back 5 with okolis pace in the middle and replace either one of winks or soumare with a defensive midfielder. That should help stem the goal leak going on

Clueless - out of his depth - yes, players are absolutely awful but set up and team selections including subs shows he has no idea.

Pretty sure there's a few on here that spent 2 years demanding we get him in that are now not so happy to be reminded of it. Big names rarely make good managers and he's just the latest one that maybe needs a couple of years at a lower level making correct decisions and working his way up the ladder. He could end up being the latest guy who can coach but doesn't suit the hot seat.

He needs to try something like this imo. Not optimistic about tomorrow, but if we can get in a LCB and WG/ST, then the below line up may look slightly better. They’ll be a bunch of fans advocating for El Khannouss and Buonanotte to start together, but we need all the pace we can get, both defensively and offensively imo.

Bilal won’t get a touch as 5 of those players will constantly be passing backwards and sideways to Vestegaard.

High line and no pace at the back or front 3. Vestegaard slows everything down too much too often.  The ball either gets recycled back by JJ or Ayew couldn’t control the ball and kept giving it away.

Ndidi can’t come back soon enough so Soumare can get binned off.  Brain dead player.

Surely Ruud can’t keep playing Dads Army FC upfront. While they have experience, Vardy is 38 and the other two have never been any good at their peak years ago. Give Mav and Daka more of a run again. It might add some value when we have to sell them at the end of the season.

There's no value in Mavididi he's a Championship player with a pretty poor attitude, the games he's played he offered little more than dad's army and the lads meant to be in his prime, seeing him half jogging back really ****s me off.

Daka at least runs, not convinced by his end product but you can generally say he doesn't try.

The RVN gamble has not paid off but this board will still piss away another 2 months before getting rid.

Survived 7 straight defeats so we'll have to top that before anything is done

I wish he would walk to show everyone what a shit show is being run here .I except  he is probably  out of his depth  managing these ****wits but I wouldn't blame him for going .

Nistelrooy says he will work "until the last second" of the window to bring in new players

no way he is our manager Next Monday if we get dumped out of the Cup … I suspect he will unload on Top and Rudkin and be removed

He's a shit coach.

Clearly no idea how to work with them on defensive tactics.  Our high line is a joke, it's more of a zig zag and that's where pretty much the issues start.

Clueless moron

Whether they've been bad as a whole, as they have, El Khannouss and Soumare have been two of our better players. As for Ndidi, bar probably one or two matches, he must have improved dramatically during rehabilitation because I seem to remember not long ago certain people believed him to be washed up and wanted rid of him!

I think Soumare is a red herring. He looks alright against teams that give him time and space to play his game, as soon as he comes up against a team that scrap, he’s ****ing useless. I still don’t think he offers enough over the 90 minutes.

One person on here called me an idiot and I had no football knowledge because I dared say RVN didn't have enough experience and I didn't want him as manager :dunno:

Should have gone for Moyes after Cooper. Talk about football snobbery…… this is proving to be another ridiculous decision by the board.

Moves said he didn't want to take over a club in a relegation battle.

Code for he turned us down

Been getting the same as I said all along I don't think this would work out. The first two games we picked up points but in both games the opposition should have scored more than they did. Nothing has improved since Van Nistelrooy has come in, in fact I'd say we've got worse.

Walk out today Ruud and send this ownership into a spiral and I’ll call you legendary forever. Even though you can’t set up a team if your life depended on it.

I agree, as a manager I don't think he's what we need at this moment of time or even good enough if I'm brutally honest.

As for walking...

Well he did it at PSV claiming "lack of support" as the reason for going, so if we sign no one today who know's.

He has the guts to do it, and possibly the excuse.

He’s been massively undermined, but he’s also a very poor coach…. If he walks it’s win win, because it’s a statement again this pathetic board, and we get rid on an inept manager for nothing

I’m torn on this one because RVN has inherited one of the worst squads in our recent history. Some absolute dross in that dressing room.

But he ain’t helping himself by picking that same dross and not being flexible when it comes to formations and tactics etc.

Final straw for me was when we came out unchanged for the second half at Everton when some players should definitely have been hooked.
