Tbqh I’d even go as far as playing facundo as a false 9

I suggested turning Buonanotte into a full 9. Can't be worse than the vaudeville we have been watching for months now. As it stands, this squad has no finisher. Vardy should not start any more and come in at the 60 minute mark, if needed. Make Hermansen or Ndidi the captain.

Do Everton have better players than us?

DCL better than Vardy/Daka?

Doucoure better than Bilal or Facundo?

Garner and Gueye better than Ndidi, Winks, Soumare and Skipp?

Mikalenko and Patterson/Coleman better than VK and Justin?

Yes I’ll give you Pickford and their CB’s.

Yes they do

I prefer Mads but Pickford is probably better currently.

The complete back 4 of theirs is better it also has a MV just shy of £100m ours is what £30m

The wingers are better Lindstrom, Ndiaye even Harrison are all better than what we currently have

I believe Ndidi & Soumare & Bilal would probably make a joint 11

Then looking at CF Vardy/Daka v DCL/Beto currently it’s about which 1 of the 4 offers more to the team do Vardy/Daka get involved more no so probably Beto as it is now

So that’s what 8 Everton & 3 Leicester in a joint 11 🤷‍♂️

That’s not me being all doom and gloom on Leicester jumping on a slating wagon if you don’t agree who do you change then I could probably point to their individual thread and show how everyone else feels.

I would hope after 10-15 games of the system he has us playing clearly not working and not being suitable for the players we have that he would actually look to try and change it

Unfortunately I don't think he will

We will carry on as we are with the OAP front 3 and go down with a wimper

The last five games of the glorious, much missed Cooper reign were a 3-1 derby defeat, a 5-2 cup loss, a 1-1 draw with a ten man team who hadn't yet won a game, a 3-0 defeat and a 2-1 loss where our only serious effort was a 95th minute penalty.

They have both had 12 games and a difference of three points collected. Both won 2 league games.

We have been utterly hopeless all season. Both coaches have delivered nothing in the form of entertainment or results.

Yeah but what can’t be agued is we are in the the decline, as opposed to results improving 9 losses from 10 worst points return and worst goal difference and that is criminal when you have the likes of Ipswich and Southampton to compete with at the very least

It’s amazing how players look a lot better after a winning run, yet if the same question were asked when Dyche was in control and they were only a point in front people were saying how shit they were. Good managers get a tune out of players a bit like Moyes an underperforming Beto.

I’ll give you Beto but the back 4 & wingers were still better than ours 3 games ago.

It’s 2025 and Leicester fans are still calling for Sean Dyche.

I’d hoped Steve Cooper would have put people off, but clearly not.

It’s incredible, isn’t it? Everton were utterly turgid under Dyche and have improved beyond measure since he was sacked. The same group of players are suddenly playing vastly better football and getting results week after week. This in itself should tell us everything we need to know about Dyche, but some people apparently still want him at our club :D

Saw this from a Man U fan on the BBC site

Never been comfortable with Ruben Amorim's appointment - the team look lost. We should have kept Ruud van Nistelrooy until the end of the season to see how the team progressed.

Might have worked out for him ok there.

Will he stay for the Champ?

I can't see us paying him off, so either another Premier League club takes a punt on him, and we get some compensation, he resigns, or he does lead us into the new season.

Unless he has some kind of relegation clause.

Yep, because he is getting the best out of what he has at his disposal, that's what good managers do, which tells you everything you need to know about Van Rooney!

So glad we listened to all the Cooper out brigade, its worked brilliantly

I think Moyes would struggle to get a tune out of our squad.  That’s why he didn’t want to touch us with a bargepole.

Why would Steve Cooper put people off Sean Dyche? Dyche has a track record over several years of keeping teams in this league in difficult circumstances.

My biggest reservation with appointing Dyche is that I don't think we really have a Dyche team.

Should've never been Cooper in. Both appointments were really wrong.

It’s high time we accept there is no one single place or person to lay the blame for our predicament. We lcfc are a perfect storm of ineptitude, bad luck, catastrophic decision making, poor hiring & firing, PSR, inefficient financial dealings & more.

its sounds overwhelmingly negative when put like that but its worth mentioning the positives. We have a great passionate fan base, an ownership that cares and invests but needs better executives, a future vision, still a great club with amazing successes, a genuine GOAT of the game. There’s more but you get the point. Have to stay positive I’m done being in a dark place. What will be will be. Foxes will rise again!

The problem is he doesn’t help himself with team selection, in game management and subs. We all know Vesty is going to walk straight back into the side tomorrow and Ayew will continue even though he’s quite possibly the slowest wide player in living memory.

We all knew, did we?
