It's hard to fully blame the manager when our entire defense is awful. Ayew and Reid are terrible. Vardy can't seem to finish, Soumare is even worse.

Great managers like Pep couldn't even get us a win. However, I'm going to eat my words from months a go and say I wish we kept Cooper.

At the end of the game, it looked like he walked onto the pitch to shake the refs hand and a couple of the Brentford players, but ignored the City ones, that was how it looked from the tv anyway, so something may be amiss

Can't fault that tbh. Would you want to shake any of those players hands knowing you'll be sacked off the back of it?

The players are giving nothing out there.

I'm not a ruud fan.. picks the same rubbish and tactics are poor.. but tbh the squads awful and we've spent nothing to help him out.

Can't fault him for not shaking the players hands.. wouldn't want to look at them. Besides he's probably aware he's lost his job

Absolutely he did that. Awful man.

I wouldn’t shake any of our players hands after that effort. I’d have a few of them by the throat

Strange but that's how I feel. I honestly think we'd be another 6 points better off with Cooper and I hated him

I’ve tried to be patient but that shit was utterly indefensible. The players are shit but that was basic, we made Brentford who are a tidy side look prime Barca.

The whole ****ing lot need to go, All of King Power FC.

With apologies to Peter Finch...

"I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's missing passes or scared of conceding a goal. John Rudkin buys Jordan Ayew, the club is going bust, goalkeepers can't keep a clean sheet. Players are running wild on the pitch and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the squad is unfit to play and our manager is unfit to coach, and we sit watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen games without a goal and sixty-three goals against, as if that's the way it's supposed to be.'

"We know things are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go to games anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my Filbert Fox doll and my  Sky TV and my I ❤️ LCFC sticker and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.'

"Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot - I don't want you to write to Top because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the relegation and the PSR and the EFL and the points deduction next season.'

"All I know is that first you've got to get mad. You've got to say, 'I'm a HUMAN BEING, God damn it! My life has VALUE!' So I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window. Open it, and stick your head out, and yell, 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!

I’d be inclined to agree with you

I think Enzo did a decent job of rallying a demoralised, relegated squad.  Partly because of a very systemic approach.

Not without criticism, I found his approach very rigid at times. And of course a lower league.

But what we are seeing now is perhaps how poor this group of players is.  Cooper and Ruud are totally different characters and with different tactical approaches. Both have failed dismally.

I have to retract some of my criticism of Cooper. This is down to the ownership and the players they've recruited more than anything I reckon.

Bad though the performances are, we shouldn't concentrate on the manager. Root cause is the failing ownership. Our owners and board dealt the cards, the latest manager/patsy has to play them

Bad squad for sure but they are two really bad managers at this level. Clueless.

Nothing improves unless we get a Pearson, Puel or Maresca type manager who actually knows what recruitment means considering how our board relies completely on the manager. Such a bad strategy

Would take Puel right now. Would rip your arm off for him.

Give him a rebuild.

His post match interview on sky showed a defeated man. He has no idea how to get us out of this situation. He knows the team isn't good enough and he doesn't know how to make us better than the sum of our parts. For himself and the benefit of the club, he needs to go.

True, I would genuinely be interested to see what someone like Moyes would do with this lot.  I still think we'd be dreadful
