We would never would have got Moyes you honestly think we would have stayed not a chance mate

Yes. We were outside the relegation zone (just) when this joker came into the club. We had half a season still left to play, maybe a bit more. Not that I'm rewriting history or going around in circles so I'll leave it there. I wouldn't trust Van Nistelrooy to get us out of the Championship. I honestly don't know how people can defend him.

Because he came in when we was already in a mess.

im not really bothered about the records he broke who cares we was going down with or without Ruud.

You kind of are bothered as it goes against your narrative that Cooper is the anti christ, which is surely the main reason you are trying to stick up for statistically our worst ever manager.

That would imply Tottenham or Utd would have been relegated no chance any other manager would have taken us down as well guaranteed

If we appointed Cooper this summer while we’re a Championship side it would of been a pretty solid move imo. This is his level and hes promotion proven. Appointing him as a Premier league choice was a dreadful move however

The only correct answer this is.

As I put it to someone at work who only looks at Leicester from the outside. Do we have a great squad? No. Were we always going to be down there? Yes. Was cooper the right appointment? No. Should he have gone? Yes. Would he have put up a better fight than RVN? Yes. Would a non League manager get us scoring at least one goal at home in 5 months? Yes.

If he wasn't a top ex footballer who has won lots, and he was similar in pedigree to Steve Cooper, I hardly doubt anyone here would defend him.

He's worse than Taylor and Holloway.

Reports he's been fired... perhaps leaked out a week too early 😆 everyone else knows before Ruud.

Seems unlikely when they breached psr last season by about £120m

Can you really implement style and identity with players you haven’t chosen, who may not be good enough or the right type of player for the style or identity you want? It’s particularly difficult when you have been using Coopers coaching staff for a good few months. In short it’s been a cluster ****, mainly on the clubs part but perhaps Rudd was naive to accept under such crap conditions. You need at least a window to have a fair crack at it. You can’t really stamp too much on a team you haven’t had any influence in building.

No but you could not play Vestergard in a high line and wait untill your teams 3-0 down to change it. He's tactically inept. Nobody would be complaining if we had been losing narrowly, showing tactical reflexivity and looking at least organised and hard working.

We were out of every game by the 30minute mark and set up to fail game after game.

Think great escape season under big nige we weren't calling for his head because we were in relegation zone but not playing badly or without spirit.

RVN is the biggest fraud out there worse than prime Rooney manager mode.

He never played since so he did change it.

Same with Ward never played again.

Dropped Winks never played again due to bad attitude.

Repalced Kristensen with Thomas its worked.

So while people say he hasn't got a clue he is making the right calls in regards to some.

I'm no tactical genius, but asking Vestergaard, "How fast can you run 50 years, son?" would've been a start.

Ward should never have played in the first place .. he shouldnt have to learn he's crap

Its a common known fact

I would assume he'll walk at the end of the season, an ex-player with his reputation can survive half a bad season in the Prem with a relatively poor side and still get a job that's way above what his talents and accomplishments warrant. Failing with us next year would be a killer.

Well he didn't do it again, he's not had a pre season so he is hardly going to know all the players strengths and weaknesses

So before he joined Leicester he never watched any football
