Today’s performance hit rock bottom for me. I knew it would be a shocker as soon as I saw the team sheet.

I hope Top is on the phone to this Dawson fella as we speak handing him his p45.

i really hope we see a strong bounce in performances going forwards. Ruud has his work cut out.

It's not going to get worse, this is the low.

A few thoughts.

1- Caretaker was on a hiding to nothing, we saw it a few seasons ago.
2- Look on the clubs social media back to Tuesday. There's a video of them in the gym on exercise bikes. They're all putting in MINIMAL effort. Anyone who's been in a Puregym knows there's more graft put in there than in that video, and these are professional athletes.

3- Expect Ruud to be ruthless with the defence. Come January you'll see none of these play.

I know we are shit and people are annoyed but forming this opinion on a short video which is likely to have been of the players warming up/cooling down is a bit wild.

Plenty of actual evidence from todays 90 mins to form that opinion.

I wonder how much Steve Cooper laughed through that.

I don't know what's worse, the 3 at the back, the full backs, the midfield 2 ir the attack lol that midfield takes some beating...in shiteness i mean, Brentford didn't find it very hard to beat it.

Was there stomached it until the 4th went in.  That has to be the worst I have witnessed us play in many a year no fight, no passion, no effort.  Our midfield is non existent and our defence woeful.  I pray to God van nistelroy is a miracle worker because jesus christ couldn't get a tune out of that lot.

Get ready for cov, Sunderland and Wrexham next season and of course the efl points deduction.

All 3 of those teams could be playing in different divisions next season.

Worst game I've since since puller puel's reign

Players didn't do themselves any favours there. Useless cvnts.  Maybe it wasn't just coopers fault after all...

I hope to god they listen to Ruud and respect him otherwise we are well and truly fvcked for a few years. No hope

I don't think there's any worry there. lol

"Pick a Leicester City starting 11 and 9 substitutes to face Thomas Frank's Brentford team away from home."

To select a starting 11 and substitutes for Leicester City to face Thomas Frank's Brentford away from home, we need to consider Leicester's current squad and form, key players, and tactical approach. For this hypothetical match, I'll choose players who can match Brentford's high pressing style while also making sure Leicester stays solid defensively and capable in attack.

Leicester City Starting 11 (4-2-3-1 formation):

  1. GK: Daniel Iversen
The young Danish keeper has stepped up as Leicester’s first-choice goalkeeper after Kasper Schmeichel's departure. He’s been solid and deserves the nod.

  2. RB: Timothy Castagne
Castagne offers pace and energy on the right side. He’s also defensively reliable but offers attacking width and support to the forward players.

  3. CB: Wout Faes
A key figure at the back. Faes brings physicality, aerial dominance, and good passing ability to help build attacks from deep.

  4. CB: Harry Souttar
Another towering presence in defense. His height and defensive positioning are crucial against a team like Brentford that can be dangerous from set-pieces and crosses.

  5. LB: James Justin
Justin is capable of contributing both defensively and in attack, with the ability to overlap and cross into dangerous areas.

  6. CM: Youri Tielemans
Tielemans remains one of Leicester's most creative and important midfielders. His vision, passing range, and technical skill are crucial in controlling the midfield and setting the tempo.

  7. CM: Boubakary Soumaré
Soumaré provides energy, ball recovery, and dynamism in midfield. He can disrupt Brentford's play and offer defensive stability while supporting the attack.

  8. RW: Harvey Barnes
Barnes offers pace and dribbling on the left side, making him a threat to Brentford’s defense. He’s effective at cutting inside and getting shots off or providing key passes.

  9. CAM: James Maddison
Maddison is Leicester's playmaker, providing creativity, vision, and the ability to score or assist from central areas. He’ll be key in breaking down Brentford's defense.

  10. LW: Kieran Dewsbury-Hall
Dewsbury-Hall has been impressive in recent seasons for Leicester, offering tireless work in midfield and the ability to make key runs into the box.

  11. CF: Patson Daka
Daka is a clinical striker with pace and the ability to get behind Brentford's defense. He offers a different dynamic than Jamie Vardy, with a more direct style of play.

Substitutes:

  1. GK: Danny Ward
Ward is a reliable backup goalkeeper and will provide security in case Iversen needs to be substituted or if there's an injury.

  2. CB: Çağlar Söyüncü
A solid defensive option, Söyüncü offers versatility in central defense and is good in the air.

  3. CM: Wilfred Ndidi
Ndidi brings a defensive presence in midfield, offering ball recovery and protection in the center of the park if the team needs to defend more solidly.

  4. CM: Dennis Praet
Praet is another technical option in midfield. He can provide creativity, cover in wide areas, and a steadying influence when needed.

  5. RW: Tete
Tete brings pace, trickery, and the ability to stretch defenses on the right flank. He could provide an impactful substitute performance.

  6. LW: Ayoze Pérez
Pérez offers flair and versatility in attack. He can be used as an option on the left wing or as a secondary striker.

  7. CF: Jamie Vardy
Vardy is always a threat as an impact substitute. His pace and ability to exploit defensive mistakes could be crucial late in the game.

  8. CM: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
A versatile midfielder, he can provide support in a variety of central roles, making him a strong option to change the midfield dynamic if needed.

  9. CF: Jamie Vardy
As a veteran striker, Vardy can bring his experience and clinical finishing when coming off the bench.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

  • Iversen
  • Castagne, Faes, Souttar, Justin
  • Tielemans, Soumaré
  • Barnes, Maddison, Dewsbury-Hall
  • Daka

Bench:

  • Ward (GK)
  • Söyüncü (CB)
  • Ndidi (CM)
  • Praet (CM)
  • Tete (RW)
  • Pérez (LW)
  • Vardy (CF)

This team is a balanced mix of attacking potential and defensive solidity, with pace on the wings and creativity in midfield, giving Leicester the flexibility to adapt during the game against Brentford’s pressing style.

I think the only way we stay up is if we have a genuinely good January. We need a proper fullback or two and a centre half.

We don't buy in january,  plus it is a crap window havnt some people noticed that for several years?

You're dreaming

He can laugh all he wants, he’s responsible for ripping the arse out of this squad.
