I want new ownership but realistically how long did it take for the Man U fans to be rid of the Glazers given the size of the fan base and much higher profile club?

The idea we’ll get a good buyer we’re living in cloud cuckoo land

the criticism of Top and KP is right but honestly if we just had a reshuffle at the top I’d be fine with them staying.

very easy to chuck toys out of the pram because of how shit our decline has been but the body of work idk it’s hard for me personally

This is the issue some of our fan base think a club like Leicester is remotely attractive to buy, it's not in the London/South for starters. We far more likely to get another dodgy overseas money launderer like the Reading bloke.

It's also requires there to be some operations staff at the clubs finance department being competent enough to do the required due diligence on the takeover, it's far from a certain it wouldn't get a whole lot worse and we are being run by a bankrupt overseas money launderer!

Look at Birmingham City? an American firm would be interested in buying us that's without a shadow of a doubt.

The 2nd city, over Leicester. They didn't exactly do great with the Rooney debacle. I'm sceptical of American owners, they are not generally in business to not make money, they wont spend on anythingthey dont need to. Football is not hugely profitable for most.

Ermm.. last time I looked, the Glazers were still there.

They just sold a minority stake to Jim Radcliffe and carried on fleecing the club as before, as those of us paying £45 for a League Cup ticket at Old Trafford know only too well.

They will be in the same league as us next season the way things are going.

I think we will be attractive, although our title win was nearly 10 years ago it did massively raise our profile across the world, we have a decent stadium and we attract 30k+ for home games, even last season our attendances were pretty solid, then add in a world class training facility, and that makes us an attractive option for anyone wanting to buy an established club, where the challenge comes is at what asking price and that is where it could be difficult as I am fairly sure KP will value the club a lot higher than perhaps what the club is valued to an outside investor.

Just looking at the new signing behind the scenes video … I know they own the club but king power are so ingrained in everything. “King power performance centre” king power this king power that. Just feels a long way away him ever deciding to sell up.

How often do their 'influencers' (dislike that term) go to games?

I think it’s when Top turns up isn’t it? Or when We’ve got a bus parade.

I still think last years bus parade was embarrassing.

It was all part of King Powers Fox Hunter project to promote and enhance sport in Thailand.

King Powers has been split into separate operating divisions with one of those being sport.

They won’t sell up.

Having access to British sport, allows them to cross paths with the extremely wealthy. It’s almost like a came of chess and Leicester City Football club are a pawn.

The King Power is dead, long live the King Power!

There's things afoot. Bad result tomorrow and there will be some sort of shift. S'what I've heard.

Shift in what direction? Change of ownership or change in football director?

My constant retort about Americans in football is they can be decent. Bill Foley’s been very impressive at Bournemouth and he’s doing a great job at FC Auckland as well right now (a club he’s built from scratch).

Whatever that might be it'll bee too late (again) to save us from relegation!

The only reasons some owners of football clubs are bad are if they are using the club to whitewash their ill gotten gains (Man City, Chelsea, Newcastle) or using it to serve their wider business interests by extracting value (Man Utd, Rangers).Ours are neither.

Don't blame owners for footballing decisions. Neither Top, nor Vichai for that matter, had much knowledge of football, their role is financial and in that respect they have transformed the club.

We have good owners who genuinely want the club to do well relying on people who know about football to actually run it.

The hard truth is running a successful football club is difficult unless you can throw billions at it without consequence (Man City, Chelsea in pre PSR days). The reason winning the premier league was so amazing is that is was so astonishingly rare for a club like ours.

Talking about the manager, tactics, players, signings is part of the appeal of the game but public chants of personal abuse is demeaning and destructive and sets an appalling example to younger people in the ground.

I am not saying we should cheer poor performances or clap the team as they get relegated, booing is fine in my book, but unless our owners are openly extracting value for their own gain or perpetuating barbarous acts keep your criticism to the decisions they make that you disagree with rather than chanting for them to go.
