Where's Mickeyblueeyes...I need to hear some of your expletives aimed at Top today 😂

I am incredibly respectful you know. I use the Khun crap and everything when I refer to him.

Yes "Be careful what you wish for" is right.

I remember the management before KP, and it was crap. Financial problems put us into administration, then the dross of the Mandaric years. I've only been going a quarter century, but there were shite owners before then too.

So ditching KP without finding another buyer is like walking away from your wife and still expecting Sunday lunch and a blow job.

Sure if there was an eager buyer who genuinely had both the funds and the expertise to get us back to the highs of the last decade then we should look at the deal. I am sure Top would be interested too, as he has enough hassles in his life without us.

There should be a reckoning behind the scenes over the financial mismanagement, but new owners are not a magic solution. There's loads of clubs out there with owners hated by their fans.

In your (rather ridiculous) analogy do you think we’re currently getting Sunday roasts and blow jobs from KP???

To me, just like someone in your tired marriage analogy, you are remembering the good old days, and not the last 3-4 years

Yes vichai is different to Flop obviously

Really In terms of ownership though there cannot be a greater fall from grace in recent history than King Power.

I would have posted this in the "Do They Mean Us" thread, but it seems to have disappeared.

A rare foray into the lower leagues by The Times.

This is utterly, utterly damning.

And it’s also worth noting this could be said for any situation….

Do we think Newcastle fans were being careful what they wished for when Ashley was selling up to the Saudi’s?

I heard rumours that points deduction could be worse than the 6 we were expecting. Not sure if there is anything more than pure speculation. But if true could pretty much put us in the bottom 3 or very nearly.

I swear Top could put a montage of his polo highlights on the screens

before kickoff and it would be cheered from the rafters. He could get

off his pony and show the crowd his arse and the KP crew would politely clap.

It’s not funny, this deluded group of self professed, morally superior supporters have been playing a pivotal role in the clubs demise. It’s time we ignored them on their high horses.

I just had the exact same feelings. I think 2026 could be a disastrous year for us off the pitch.

well, remember where we were before they took over (pretending the Pearson playoff season didn't happen), we were rudderless, in the bottom half of the championship, just waiting to be relegated after years of financial turmoil. you wouldn't want to end up like that again...

In any such scenario I bet the blame will fall on those who have been vocal against the ownership. Those who boycotted, stopped going, stopped spending their money. Those who were negative and didn't support Top.

It'll be our fault, not the board's.

One of the most frustrating things with the KP faithful is that their argument is that it's Rudkin fault and not Top/King power. But what they seem to be unable to comprehend is that Rudkin is in the job because of Top/King Power.

From the end of 2020 to the end of 2025 our league position has dropped 27 places. More than any other team in the top two leagues. And we've lost again since then.

If Aiyawatt had sacked Rudkin back in 2023 I suspect most the people that want him to sell out  now would have backed him

In my opinion, the writing is on the wall….. issues with KP, things starting to go wrong at frontline level at the club, seemingly a complete pause on investments, projects stopping, Top seemingly getting more distant occasionally throwing out empty statements to fend the vultures off his back.

I think we’ve now become a problem for him and King Power and because of the families sentimental attachment to the club, I think Top would prefer to let it drift away, than actually actively sell it.

So, I can now see us just drifting further into a black hole, until third party action is required.

Spot on….. he’s been appointed due to his, connection with the club, not his competence…. Top’s inability to install a competent boardroom, is why we’re in this mess it is indeed directly and totally his fault. He is the “Boss” so this messy sort….. I can’t understand how some don’t understand this…..

Sadly, I think you're right. I think we'll be the new Sheff Wednesday.
