The worst chairman in English football history.

This is what some don't get ..... King Power should be viewed as 2 separate ownerships ... firstly a man who had the club and city at his heart and had an invaluable connection with the fans ... vast amount of respect both ways ..... secondly a man well out of his depth, who has alienated life long supporters and shown no understanding of city fans ... but he still will not stand up and take any responsibility.... stand up and be a man .... clear out all the hangers on .... one automatically comes to mind or sell up and move on

Going to be waiting a long time sadly.

Will it? They are done for. Vichai had all the connections in Thailand and Aiywatt has no idea how to a operate a business. Obviously, Leicester City will plummet in value when we inevitably get relegated, but he might have to sell his biggest asset (even if he loses a fortune).

No it’s King Power. Didn’t care for the previous owner and I don’t care for this one.

If we're honest they've always been clueless haven't they? I think a lot of the success was a result of dumb luck

Right from the off with Pearson being forced out to accommodate Sousa , I know this probably wasn't KP directly but at the time it was presented that we needed a "name" manager for the potential new owners.

Followed by Sven's kid in a sweetshop spending spree on mainly dross, which took Pearson a good while to sort out the wheat from the chaff and bomb out the bad eggs.

Pearson rehired on the recommendation of Birch.

The Trestellar mess that had we not been promoted in 13-14 and put ourselves outside the EFL's purview,  would have seen greater ramifications. Possibly the source of some of the EFL's animus towards us currently

Pearson sacked and then unsacked within one day.

Stumbling across success largely built on Pearson's framework and then snatching the premier league trophy from the players after the trophy lift. Turning the celebrations that day into a King Power advert. (Ditto the Championship celebrations with the busload of Thai influencers on the pitch and hijacking the parade)

Watch the Bocelli performance back and see where the camera focuses when he shrugs his jacket off. That's all we are to them and all we ever were, a global platform for King Power.

Backing Rogers to the extent that he had free rein to tear down the entire foundation Pearson had built right through to the medical staff etc. Who in their right minds, having watched the Sunderland documentary, would have let Lee Congerton within 100 miles of the club????

And this is all BEFORE the current decline!!! It was always coming in hindsight wasn't it.

Laziness and ineptitude runs through the club from top to bottom. Agents leading us by the nose and filling a squad full of lazy, arrogant, serial losers because literally nobody at the club has the knowledge or the desire to do any more.

What happened to the due diligence on players' characters that the likes of Walsh used to do when scouting?

Signing washed up players on a fortune in wages whilst simultaneously watching the likes of Brighton and Brentford et al employing our former transfer model.

How is it possible to assemble a squad of such unlikeable players?

We think back to less gifted players, the likes of Paul Fitzpatrick and Gary Coatsworth with a smile and fondness because they were giving it their absolute everything despite their deficiencies.

I utterly loath this squad.

Henry Winter recently alluded to the fact that Top is just really really thick and I think that's ultimately what it boils down to.

I just hope when relegation is finally confirmed and KPFC perishes, that an LCFC is reborn that we can all feel part of once again. No matter at what level that might be

Fantastic post. Should be added that the previous owner appointed Rudkin to Director of Football.

Sounds as though he’s doubling down so don’t hold ya breath.

His problem is the money is going to run out. Our cash flow is going to be reduced so much. The loans have to be paid to the bank and the parent company. As the Middle East fighting continues, tourism reduces in Thailand.

There’s got to be a reason why that Christmas payday got changed. That date allowed two home games to take place, one of which was on Sky. Well that’s a good example of the lack of cash in the company

Its not because next year will be a struggle as well

With administration comes a points deduction, so yeah, we're f**ked

At the same time any assistance from the government will be wiped away as the club begins to represent incompetency.

He will be in it till the very end. Asian business culture tells us that. But the money is disappearing.

if you support their ownership, you support the loss of jobs and the all around negative impact.

IF miraculously  we DO survive, dont let yourselves think a magic wand will make everything  better next season.

No matter  which league we will be in it will be the same drivel.

This club has lots of rebuilding to do and unfortunately  we dont have the people at the helm to rebuild.

We are a Woolworths not an M&S

These are going to make us a third tier club. We’re in a graveyard with other former top flights clubs such as Bolton, just trying to get back into the second (!) tier.

King power have ALWAYS been shit, I don’t buy this bollocks about Vichai being good, they got lucky with Nige and his set up and Raneri was the right man at the right time, none of it was dilberate.

Said this for years. They got incredibly fortunate to have someone like NP and his team who had already set the foundations.

Pearson imo was one of the last managers who had a real grip on all sorts within the club not just playing staff or on the pitch.

Ranieri was the perfect storm and continued the foundations for a season.

I want them to go down. I was critical of Jake on BSLB podcast when he said it but no, he is spot on. This club needs to go down and into admin. This bastard needs to go broke.

If you love your father you don’t do this to each of his legacy businesses. It’s an act.

Likewise.

Lets watch those who backed this horse suffer. That will make this all pretty easy.

Could you confirm please before I do my A Level geography exam?
