Can you expand on anything you said/heard?

So my ‘source’ works in event management, I don’t think he works directly for oakview but he’s been working at the club for a year or so. At the start of the season the club told them in other words probably but to spare no expense in regards to hospitality and according to him it’s one of the biggest contracts they have, all was relatively fine until the last 6 weeks where they’ve had to chase payment and they got told by the club that they couldn’t afford to make a payment but if they would carry on as normal and they’ll try and sort at the end of the season. Apparently there’s been a fair few managers and technicians that have told them they’re not going to work until it’s paid which is a ‘logistical nightmare’.

Sorry if that is a ramble to read and there’s a lot of holes in it as I know absolutely nothing about hospitality and especially hospitality contracts so I’m trying to remember all the details, all I know for certain is is that they owe 40k. I asked him whether it could just be a cash flow problem and could well be sorted at the end of the season but he said this has only happened to him twice and one was Preston and Bolton and neither ended up paying

I have absolutely no reason to disbelieve this at all.

At what point does it get very ugly, would Vichai's statue be at risk of getting torn down?

if we go into administration and stay in league 1 for multiple years and king power sells I think it is NOT appropriate for his statue to remain outside

Same but different.

I work with someone who’s partner works with the club, and they’ve told me it’s been suggested to his partner that after 30 years with the club the may be getting made redundant. So, there are definitely issues within the club.

I tend to agree

It never sat right with me and said so at the time especially since we have fvck all of any players or managers, but could obviously see why we have it considering the circumstances.

Top will have it removed, I can guarantee it… wouldn’t put it past him to have it removed or covered by the Millwall game.

They'll have security around it. Imagine someone spraying Rudkin Out on it. Would be some statement !

It would be an absolute disgrace and shameful if our fans did anything to his statue in retaliation to top or king power. Khun Vichai was a seperate entity from his son, and only gave us miracle memories.

What his son is doing should have no bearing on his statue, to any fan with a brain cell.

I feel for some of the players having to drop to £20k / £30k a week next year

I agree with you, but we know it will. People will sink to those levels.

Khun Vichai's statue should remain where it is long after king power go and also for the duration of any future owners. His statue isn't just what he done for leicester city, its what he also did for our community as a bi-product.

Vichai’s sacked the little rat after giving him free rein with Sven.

Vichai kept him away from decision making because of him being an idiot.

Vichai’s alright.

It’s the useless piece of shit scumbags in the fanbase who support him blindly and get angry at any comment against Top that are a problem. Stinking of tuna fish. Offering nothing to society. Force them out first.

I think you are confusing King Power with how its being run now and King Power under Vichai. Vichai is the best Chairman we have ever had and without him would never have won the Premier League title. Why would that be removed because his sons an incompetent arsehole?

It's not appropriate to be there now.

He left a legacy after the club's first PL triumph, so why not?

It's not his fault his Son took over the reigns unsuccessfully.

I obviously don't want us to get relegated to League One, but if it results in the departure of King Power and Jon Rudkin, then I'm all for it! That specky eyed little twat, needs to go and fast.... He's a weasel and is culpable for the majority of this.

Just putting this here to come back to in September.

I reckon the commercial director and sporting director wont be with us by the time the League one season kicks off.

What makes you say that? They'll realize what they've done and see sense, or Rudkin will sack them?
