I’ve not heard that this season. I may be wrong because I’ve seen 5 home defeats in my attendance (Blackburn, Oxford, Charlton, Norwich and QPR). The crowd have been very quiet, almost numb with a few shouts at the players and groans to sideways and backwards.

Nobody puts Man City down to "luck" after beating third and fourth division clubs every season to win it.

We had a much tougher run to get there than Man City ever have. Decent Championship sides like Stoke and Brentford (the season they were promoted) and then PL sides in Brighton, Man Utd and Southampton. It was a tough run. And credit to Rodgers (I never say that) for taking it seriously and playing strong sides.

 

I can see why people make references to being fortunate in the final given the disallowed goal and some great saves by Kasper.

The issue that you picked up on was that I said it was weird that the owners paraded the trophy round (which I did), and that at the time when it was said by myself and others we were shouted down (we were). That was it, then you launched your tirade about me being a hypocrite.

 

I've never said that I've never uttered a positive word about King Power (I have), so trawling the forum for posts I've made half a decade ago isn't much of a gotcha because I've not claimed that I've never said anything good about King Power over the years.

That’s the point though. 
 

And like I say it’s what you’ve said or the fact you are lying it’s the context you are delivering it in. Hypocrisy could be a way to describe it, as I said in my post “Arrogant relflectivness” is more accurate. 
 

You’re an intelligent bloke, as someone else has pointed out you’ve seen the problems here far more than others. 
 

Doubling down by going after 10 years just isn’t necessary. 
 

believe me it’s not a “gotcha” if that is what I was aiming for I’d have just done it. 
 

I have concerns a lot of our fans are beginning to see sense with top, it’s too late this season and god knows what the future holds, but, if we are ever going to get them onside, we need to be the bigger people and go from trying to belittle them by trying to make them see we all knew all along to trying to incorporate them into actual factual evidence base on the last four years. 
 

There is zero reason to go beyond that.

Reckon we'd have been promoted under Pearson in 2011 as whoever buys us in 2010 invests money. Think we'd have still had a very good period in the 2010's but unsure everything would have aligned in terms of timing for 2016. We wouldn't have signed Vardy as an established PL side I wouldn't imagine. However one could argue it's down to the initial missteps by KP that our ascendancy was delayed and we signed Vardy and Mahrez before being promoted.

Or more to the point... what has king power learnt?  They cant be happy to have spent so.much and see things go so wrong.  Yet there are no signs that they have learnt anything.
