Definitely only appointed Van Nistelrooy because 2 of his 4 games in charge of Man Utd were beating us easily

And Top's really strange obsession with so called big names in charge.

You're forgetting that 'aura' of his.

I bet Russell Martin's got an almighty bastard of an aura about him too. Thank god for having a chairman who can spot that sort of thing.

I want him out twice over now.

In a rare interview with the British press in February, Srivaddhanaprabha outlined his determination to appoint a new head coach with a similar philosophy to Enzo Maresca, who achieved promotion to the Premier League in 2024.

He said: “We have to get back to the identity of Leicester, what type of football we should play and what players we should bring.

“I think it was so clear when we got Enzo on board, what football we should play, and the type of player we should bring in.”

Is that real? Has he had no involvement in the 4 appointments since then? lol

Honestly when will these ****s leave? I wish somebody could tell me so I know when to take us seriously as a football club again

Just hope for bad results

Promotion will only extend King Power’s tenure. Decline will lead to administration and get them gone for good

The removal of his royal kneehighness from new manager comms is an interesting move.

On the one hand I think it's the right thing to do, they were never his words and people realised that when they were stupid enough to put him in front of a camera.

On the other hand it's a direct contradiction of 'i'm going to be more present and communicate more'

He never was going to do anything he said was he, anyone with an ounce of critical thinking realised that.

"We have to get back to the identity of Leicester, what type of football we should play and what players we should bring."

You'd think the 10-year anniversary might jog his memory of what our identity is and what type of football we should play.

He is so totally blinded by the fact we won the league under Enzo, yet that was probably par when you look at the squad and budget... never mind the fact that the players had to ditch his style to get us over the line.

Mad to think at the time, but I actually think not appointing Jesse Marsch was such a sliding-doors moment. I was pretty down on the idea of hiring him at the time, and I don't think he would have kept us up, but I do think he would still have got us back up automatically. The squad was too good, and I think his style would have suited them.

We then would have been in a better position to stay up the following season due to his style of play. Most importantly though, Top's belief about what "our identity" is would be very different and would align much more closely with the fans' view (aggression, pressing, high tempo, etc.).

Top should tell us all the exactly what our identity is. What is “the Leicester way”. I want it explained by him with a tactics board, with a historical highlights reel, detailing exactly how and why possession based football is so ingrained in our club DNA.

Top also seems to have forgotten our history before the KP era as well, its as if the club only came to existence when KP brought it.

The possession game is his identity, not the clubs identity.

I'm baffled by this DNA and identity rhetoric. I guess, after this RM appointment. They can close this chapeter and burn the book. We had hope, he would have learnt from Marti sacking.

Give me a win rate over some superficial playing system.

How have we missed out on Challinor over this fraud.

That's surely code for 'nobody is going to bother with General sale and this is the only way we can maximise matchday revenue'?

I am looking forward to counting down the points until it is officially our worst ever season in our history

Fvckers, get out

42 points to drop over 46 games (2008-09 we managed 96 points). We ought to do a sweepstakes for when it will officially be the worst season in our 147 year history - my bet is mid-February.

Decent stick to beat Brussell with to be fair - anything short of what Pearson achieved is officially and objectively our all-time low point, promotion or not. 96 points is the target - no, the minimum.
