I really wonder if they lost their nerve a bit after the Ranieri sacking. It was the first time that they were the villains and not the goodies. So now everything is about trying to appear as the goodies.

It's this that I want them to move on for most. They are held to absolutely no account by such a large part of the fanbase. That in itself is a major problem and why this has been allowed.

They didn’t like the reaction they got off the media over Ranieri. Hence why they kept managers from then in position for too long

I was there. I couldn't believe it. Someone said to me "why are they clapping?" I had no answer. Why were they clapping? Presumably they thought it was OK for these knobheads to take us down to League One.

Personally would miss em, as they have brought some good memories, things I would dream off  as a kid being the only lcfc fan in the house and school. I know we are in dark times etc and Personally do feel its time to let us go. I honestly hoped he would turn it around build a positive legacy, make his old man proud and connect with the fans again (like his old man) but I think we can see his hearts not init anymore and doesn't have the same dedication. Yes was given/forced in to the role way to soon etc but Personally I was hoping he would grow.

100% this. You can't allow for this neglect without the enablers. There's people who think Top genuinely cares. 

 

I'll never tire of saying they were the luckiest owners ever with that title win. Could we have done it without them? No. But what people need to get in their heads is who really achieved that feat.

 

The way they carelessly threw money at it to get us up was making us what Derby and Sheffield Wednesday were. It was completely the same tactic. 

 

The achievement of the title win was made what it was by the lack of spending once we got there. It's not Jack Walker at Blackburn. 

 

The tragedy created a hell of a lot of revisionism. Ranieri's sacking made them public enemy number 1. Vichai was in London bragging he was sacking him. 

 

All Top has done since the death is run it with the carelessness it's always been run with. We just got lucky before and it created a King Power supporting cult that's clapped us into oblivion.

The scarves that were placed in the aftermath of the tragedy. I read something the other day they were earmarked for being part of the museum down there that has never happened, but sadly all the items had been ‘lost’ by the club. Does anyone know if that is correct?

Along with the away ticketing debacle and Rudkin,  the refusal to invest in a museum has always been the worse triggers for my anger towards KP. There is a museum for a bent spined king who was just passing through but nothing for the greatest sporting miracle of all time (as well as the great moments that came before and after).

One game and I sincerely hope someone sees the potential to buy our club as if the reports are true that KP have pulled all support and hence the fire sales we are in big big trouble.

 

the hope is someone sees the potential and hopefully job one would be sack the manager and start again - some of the signings and the players left in the team have left us completely worse than ever.

 

i honestly did not believe we could sink any lower but i fear we could be in a relegation battle …..

Why would we be signing any players if that was true?

 

All we are doing is trying to sell the players that will get us the most money and off the wage bill. Pretty standard for any club dropping down a league. 

 

I do think we are still in trouble financially, especially if we don't get promoted straight away, but it don't think we are that close to administration yet, or we can at least delay it for the time being.

I'm not saying it's true I just asked. But do we know what's going on at home with KP? It could be another picture we need to look at. Can the Thai government impound his overseas investments. I'm just asking.

Who knows how close we are the administration. If KP are no longer prepared to put money in then the funds we're raising through player sales will be plugging the cashflow black hole, how long that lasts is anyone's guess. When the bills stop getting paid is when the real trouble starts.

They'll be a lot lower wages than what has left. Like I said it's a calculated gamble, absolutely no point in signing players who have zero chance of getting us out of the league in an upwards direction or relying on 6-7 more academy players.

I think I will stick to my theory. I don't think we are as close to administration right now as some random on Facebook is saying. Signing players like Chaplin and Burns makes no sense if we are days away from going into administration. There is calculated risk, and then there is downright stupidity. Clubs that are days/weeks from going into administration usually do a fire sale and promote and rely on youth players and lowest earners already at the club, just to get a starting 11 out there.
