People saying "it doesn't matter who comes in as manager, the problems are bigger" are essentially correct but we literally just needed one half decent manager at some point over the last 24 months instead of a series of 6 utter clowns and we'd undoubtedly be in a better position, albeit still basically in the shit.

My bad, it's 5 not 6. Don't want to drag King's name through the mud as bad as those games were.

I thought that last season, but you would have thought with so many gone now that this wouldnt be the case.

Unless we presume they play Skipp just because of the high transfer fee?

I think we play Skipp to ‘maximise’ the investment, same for Thomas, I can believe any self respecting football manager actually chooses them. Same with the defence, but less options there.

I think the whole club will go beyond administration…. And disappear without trace

The owners will have this on their minds forever…. But not for long as they don’t give a toss… They evidently don’t care and it’s probably for the best..

Genuinely beginning to wonder if I'd take the Premier League win again if this had to be the trade off.

It was an unbelievable year but it feels like I've lost my football club. I liked having a football club.

It feels like we are being punished constantly for having a successful period. It shouldn’t be like this.

Its really strange, when I talk to fans of other clubs who arent one of the big prem teams, they pretty unanimously say they'd take winning the premier league and have their club follow the same trajectory 100% of the time.

Its quite a complex debate I guess, if we can come out the other side of this, king power moved on, Rudkin exiled from earth and just get back to being a well run Championship club for a bit, it would make it all worth it, but I do feel without King Power selling quickly there is a distinct possibility the club ceases to exist, theyve run it that badly. And that's tough, a premier league for your club not to exist 10 or so years later...

Any manager that is willing to give some other type of system a go.. why we persist with this slow play out from the back, 50 passes between defenders, its ridiculous its been years its been detrimental.....but no lets give it another go...with players that could not do it before ....but now they cant do it, and desperately want out of this sh!t show

Yeah, that question often gets posed and if winning the league was the pinnacle then surely what we are seeing now is the opposite of that, considering this is the lowest we've ever been. Its a very valid question now considering our trajectory indicates we may never get back to the premier league.

Any decent manager would tell Top its a no go on style of play and either wouldnt get the job or be fired for a difference of opinion on football matters.

Top needs to go, end of really.

I mean I wouldn't even trade the great escape. Still get goosebumps watching the Vardy goal at the Hawthorns. Wouldn't trade the FA Cup win. It's history. And certainly wouldn't trade the title win which now feels like the last glorious hurrah of a sport that even in the last ten years has been totally and irreversibly stripped of any authenticity, unpredictability and romance.

I equally remember that goal as if it were yesterday and maintain that that was the moment that truly kickstarted our great escape (even though technically the run had started by us winning the previous game v W Ham).

It feels like we've had absolute tap-ins two summers in a row and made completely the wrong choices too. Rohl last summer, Challinor this.

Throw in Corberan the summer before.

I still think if he joined over the rancid Cooper, we’d have turned out so differently.

As I've been saying for at least two years now - our fans need to put every single effort into at least making their lives as miserable as they make ours.

The club is literally dying in front of our eyes and that is their doing. Make them feel the wrath of that. Our fans are far, far too soft. We've shown we can be bullied.
