I tuned into the Final Whistle podcast and listened to Stringer's comments. There is no doubt that every fan has a lot of respect and give credit for KP being at the helm when we were winning trophies and had our European nights but Stringer criticises the fans for how they are now voicing their discontent. If it's not chants and banners, how else do we do it? A handwritten letter to Top? I think much of the frustration comes from the silence. The fans get absolutely nothing. What statements have there been? A very occasional sentence or two in the match day programme written by the Intern and a few woolly paragraphs on the OS trying to wildly justify **** ups like shirt sponsors and PSR.

Yes it’s the silence, it’s like the club is dead. There’s absolutely nothing ! For the first time in my life I’m absolutely bored of my club, totally bored & disinterested.

Stringer quite clearly has a massive conflict of interest. Only explanation.

I think he generally enjoys going against the grain of any opinion to boost his popularity

Suspect you'll get tickets without a membership no bother next season, whether you'll want to pay the match by match prices is another story!

I think the main problem being that I have no inclination of going again anyway.

I need enticing back. Not with shit adverts, or tone deaf social media posts, or words (we’ve not even had them this time round) and no actions.

I don’t miss the day out and I don’t miss the ‘match day experience’

There are literally 0 reasons to want to go

Top should sell up entirely but if he has too much of an emotional attachment blah blah (nobody neglects something through emotional attachment in any other walk of life) then he should sell but retain a minority stake in the club.

That way he gets to gallivant and keep occasionally playing with his toy but he doesn't have to run the club. It'd be the best move for all parties as it probably gets the family off his back, we have a competent owner and the nauses get to lick the KP piss off the nettle indefinitely.

I kind of think this but the club is costing him (or King Powe), a fortune, this culture respect thing isn't doing him or the club any favours. He needs to drop the Thai thing and behave like an ambitious football owner, or move on, Vichais legacy will never die, us fans wouldn't allow it

I just find it hilarious that some on here seemed to just think all they had to do was go "boo, you're rubbish" and this international billionaire would go "oh christ you're right" and sell his favourite asset.

Do you think it is his favourite asset??

My guess is that it’s a burden he can’t be arsed with. If it isn’t then his behaviour and decision making is even more bizarre!

A tad harsh, is it any wonder a deeply religious family have such an emotional attachment to the club?

it’s not often a father dies in flames in a horrific helicopter accident in the grounds of the business.

It's neither. I've always felt LCFC is a vehicle for KP financial chicanery. It's almost irrelevant whether the club loses or makes money (Psr rules aside). The club is necessary to KP. Nothing to do with whether Top likes it

And what happened to you L1 boys, used to be the ones to speak up, now asking ufs and the foxestrust to do it for you?

Top was there we spoke nobody else did was disappointing none of the others joined in on the 14th minute at our final home game of the season after all being so vocal in previous weeks and asking for more support around the ground

At least post few more times to make your new account look less obvious after the last time you said this and it didn’t go as you wanted.

If it was a burden he'd just sell it.

I certainly lean more towards KP out than Rudkin out at this point. purely because they aren’t taking any action and there’s just such nonchalance to the way we are being run.

I had a feeling this summer there would be a move to keep Rudkin employed but alter his role at the club. An everyone wins type of scenario and can’t help but feel let down that they don’t care enough to demand improvements.

it really feels like Top doesn’t know how serious our situation is.

What if a new owner came in and kept Rudkin on because he is familiar with the operations, there is no way that Rudkin should keep his job given 2 relegations in 3 seasons and all the other shite that has happened under his guidance or lack of it.

Increasingly convinced that it’s simply the business culture he and KP come from which says they must have approval on everything. They simply can’t do minority ownership because they would rather cut their nose to spite their face about it.

The respect is line reeks of nonsense, it’s about power and being perceived to be strong. If the structure says as it does we heading the way of Cardiff, Reading, Wednesday (and don’t think Wolves be far behind). There’s a pattern there

I don’t think he feels able to…. Possibly because of his father’s memory, possibly because of family pressure.

I think that's probably more an indication of how comfortable he is with his job. There's a misconception that Sporting Directors/DoF are the key decision makers, reality is they tend to be the face of the decisions made much higher up. I imagine he's kept his job because he causes very little fuss, a lot of the guys who you see moving on from roles tend to be because they have no problem with challenging the leadership and kicking up a fuss if they don't agree.

Or his appointment coincided with the clubs most successful period and he is still dining out on that success

There was the Thai guy at Man City as well who was dodgy. Before the current owners.

I think you’ve misunderstood what I meant. I’m not doubting why they would be attached it just seems strange that he’s so negligent in the running of the club. You’d think the sentimentally would lead to driving better performance
