Missing part was Tielemans, but he got shit-canned a few weeks after we signed Youri if I remember rightly.

The Ndidi Mendy double pivot was harrowing lol

Still, regardless of that. We were the absolute pits when he took over. The football we were playing was incredibly bad and there was a close knit group that needed to be evolved and that meant upsetting some.

The Macia Puel duo definitely laid the foundations for success. If a manager leaves the club in a better place than when they came in, then that's a success to me.

I am fairly confident if Rodgers joins in summer of 2017, we don't see the success we had later on.

It wasn't binary that we needed to be abysmal to transition, Puel was just bad. He did play some younger players generally but it was only really Chilwell and Choudhury. Appointing a non-Puel manager would have had us further along. We finished behind Dyche's Burnley who only came up the season prior!

Gun to head, Marinakis or Top?

Ruthlessly aggressive arguably to the detriment of the club, or complete indecisiveness to the detriment of the club.

Marinakis is the best kisser

Easiest choice ever, of course Marinakis.

Hot-headed yes, but full of ambition and has his team playing European football.

I think whats ruined it for Forest was bringing in that Edu guy, he's the one that soured the relationship with Nuno.

Personally think Vichai's success and nous is completely overstated. Appointed several shite managers, only really Pearson did well and that was on Birch's recco.

We won the league which was one in a trillion. Several ****ing awful decisions - notably Puel.

That said he was miles better than Top.

Whilst I agree with this 100%. He wouldn't have let Rodgers take the piss like he did or take as long to get him gone. Which, would probably mean we'd never have got relegated.

is this true?

Unless he can play at left back I am not sure how he improves us in the short term, especially after listening to Where’s the money gone podcast. We need a team of loss adjusters and clever accountants.

Only our muckwit owners would appoint a marketing man to a key position when fans are expecting a managerial announcement after an 18 day search in the middle of a relegation battle that could put the future of the club in doubt. You could not make this up.

Thanks I think the points made were very reasonable, especially about Seagrave, lack of CEO and contracts.

Thanks to developments in film technology, the old and the new have been combined to bring us "Carry On King Power", featuring

Jackie Chan as hapless owner "Top Boy". You´ll crease up every time he utters his catchphrase "We promote"

Jim Dale (or Hugh Grant) as likeable young coach Andy King, who just can´t get it up (LCFC`s league position, that is)

Barbara Windsor and Charles Hawtrey, who always win the 50-50 tackles against the Leicester midfielders

In a surprise turn of events, Sean Dyche (Jason Statham) and grizzled veteran Nigel "Ostrich" Pearson (Clint Eastwood or Ray Winstone) parachute in to depose Top Boy and his evil sidekick "Dud-kin" before saving the club from relegation.

You're really showing your age there.lol

I’m being silly but wouldn’t it be great to get 100s of these around the stadium to wind him up. Or his bosses

"Tickets prices in sudden inexplicable 200%, jump at King Power Stadium"
