It doesn't say that, he clearly says only we and the league know.

Fella, nobody "knows" but the club and the league yes, but saying it's expected based on estimates doesn't mean its unequivocal or undeniable so what I said is being inferred in the article .

This is what I don't get. How can we get done by both the PL and EFL for 23/24? We were only under one jurisdiction surely?

I think EFL want to hit us for 22/23 as we escaped punishment from the PL by saying we were an EFL club.

Yes. Hence why we are totally ****ed if we go down, it’s not quite as simple as a lot of people seem to think.

Not sure it's that clear, the rules as they are written clearly aren't up to much, they've admitted that themselves and keep relying on the "spirit" of how they were meant, rather than how they are written. Be assured, if the rules aren't absolutely watertight in terms of who can do what and when, they might not have a case. It's become clear, despite us being a bit shambolic, that we're actually planning well in advance to work ourselves into positions to exploit their own rules. We''ll have been pouring over the rules long ago and will quite likely already know our next moves.

He never says the word expected when talking about PSR. He says Swis Ramble predicted, but he's just guessing, he's basing it off data we hasn't got a clue about. So no, he doesn't infer it's expected.

"Will it all be enough?

Respected football finance account Swiss Ramble has predicted an overshoot of £12 million, but only Leicester and the Premier League’s financial and legal departments will know the precise details.

The argument about whether Leicester are entitled to lose £105 million or £83 million could be crucial, perhaps dependent on how legislation is worded in the Premier League’s rules."

Top's admission of being annoyed about having to pay Cooper millions in the payoff tells me that he's placing the blame on Rudkin for making a bad appointment. He's delegated too much to people he trusts, and they're letting him down.

Also, the lack of spending this month suggests he wants the club to be sustainable, producing more homegrown players rather than paying higher amounts, so he doesn't want to put more money in.

On both counts, for failing to take action against Rudkin and not putting more money in, we need change.

Ok that's good to know. How does the plan work though? Because my guess is that they will say "revenues = 30M, wage bill = 60M. You need to cut the wage bill by 30M", and then force us to do that.

Yeah I'm not too sure. They have to be careful though because simply enforcing cuts can actually make the losses worse. We know how difficult it is in regard to PSR to sell players for less than their books value as it adds to the in year losses. It's very messy.

Leicester are extremely unhappy and believe the club have been unfairly scrutinised for displaying ambition.

lol **** off, they cant still believe that line.

Since they rolled that line out they’ve made more stupid baffling decisions.

PSR makes it very difficult clubs like Leicester with lower revenues to sustainably compete for the top positions.

But the board has played a challenging set of cards very badly.

Says we're not going to be backed much in this window, we want to terminate Eduoards loan and look for cheap fullbacks but that's about it.

I'm not fully against the cheaper fullback options. Absolutely no reason we can't spend smaller amounts and fine some absolute gems in the football league and abroad.

Danny ward has had 2 new contracts, what the Fvck has vesty been extended and hamza another new contract. Deserve everything we get. I’m at the point where I’m happy for king power to lose everything. Top is just a Nepo baby .

So there we have it the official Percy article basically preparing the fanbase for a potential points deduction but we are hard done too backdrop, at best a transfer window that delivers one or two bargain basement signings but most likely none due to finances and confirming Mads will be gone by the summer.

So that is manager number 3 who has quoted pre transfer window that there would be opportunities to bring players in to then have his wings clipped, also factor in that he has barely recruited his own backroom team and I have a horrible feeling  he will walk in February stating he had not been made aware of these issues and he cannot work with owners/directors who have lost credibility and relationship is therefore untenable.

What an absolute farcical situation and I bet Rudkin will still cling on to his job, despite the mess we find ourselves in.

No, we'd made enough of our own poor decisions. But all the rules changes have made it impossible for us to perform in the way that had served us well in the past. The changes negatively impacted our way of working more than it did others.

Not forgetting we've actually won cases against the different leagues for trying to punish us with sanctions etc,  when it was outside of their remits to do so. So, from that persepctive we are correct.

I agree but the reasons we are at the cheaper end of the market aren't noble or strategic.

If the club had its way, Rudkin would be on the blower pleading Wolves and Palace and Everton to offload their unwanted 33 year old + garbage onto us in exchange for millions.

It is quite ridiculous for them to keep peddling this given the wage structure we had.

You must have read a totally different article to me. He's repeated that we are confident we will pass, not for the first time.
