Vardy, as usual, seems to get a bit of a free pass but not the first time this season he’s offered absolutely buggar all.

And what would you propose he offers when there’s absolutely nothing for him in that 45?

I agree, it's like playing with 10.5 men.

Which is fine is he takes his chances, but we are carrying him.

We’re definitely improving but we are desperate for some January signings. It’s so clear that the squad lacks quality.

Good to see us show a bit of organisation but the quality, particularly from the front 3 is absolutely awful. Again carrying Vardy just in case a tap in falls to him, Mavididi doesn't seem to know which way we are shooting because he's always going the wrong way.

I'd be amazed if we can bore ourselves to a useful point without at least one brain fart costing us a goal.

Bilal is crying out for a striker to play off.

I'm not sure that I'm watching the same game as the commentators.

Feel sorry for them. Desperately trying to find something in the game to talk about.

Pure pong, this.

Dare I say it, even Cooper got the majority of team selection calls right eventually. Will Ruud?

Mavididi like Ayew has only really been dangerous from the bench this season.

Ayew arguable done more then Vardy and Mavididi put together.

We a desperate for wide men.

Get involved like he used too?  :dunno:

The end cometh I fear.  :(

Cash and Thomas both playing well on that left side, nothing for either side going forward really. Another team trying to bully Justin physically, repeated fouls on him again, but he has been alright so far.

Please don’t concede first 5 mins of the second half… :sweating:

Diabolical game, but dragging them down to our level is probably our only route to a positive outcome at the minute. Out of form and an injury crisis to further weaken an already very average team.

Need some hard running up there. Which Daka can do,. despite his faults

I think we are seeing improvement but we lack individual quality.

Add Facundo on to the pitch and that increases the quality and service to Vardy as well.

I can't see us scoring at the moment.

I think we’re defending well, whilst not offering much threat forward. Passing not perfect but improving under RVN. Overall Villa probably slightly better, but not much in it. I’d be happy with a draw but can’t see it finishing 0 - 0, which means we have to score.

My favourite Mavididi play is not taking his man on until he get double up and then just lay it back to the left back.

Or wait for the 2nd defender to come in then try and run through the both of them lol

I have no idea what any centre forward in the world could have offered us in that half. It's hardly been a paradise for goal poachers.

Occasionally, as in the last game, he's been wasteful and deserves criticism. But over the years there have been plenty of games when we've had one of the greatest ever strikers on the pitch, barely touching the ball, and this forum has been awash with people blaming him for it. When that clearly isn't the main issue at play.
