What was the point in this bloke signing for us?

It felt odd at the time.

He must now be 4th choice Right back, as Ricardo, Justin and Choudhury are in front of him.

It feels like some sort of dodgy transfer dealing!

Nope, it feels like our normal transfer dealing.

i dunno, we didnt pay that much for him, its not like we brought him from OHL for £32mil or something

kinda like Lyon have been doing with forest players:ph34r:

I actually think the high fullback role would suit him, but he might not get a go at it.

I mean, it's hard to tell what's gone on here. Real shame it appears to not be working out.

But successive managers now appear to not rate him.

He's ambidextrous, 6'1" and has pace.

I would have liked have seen him given a good go at Left Back.

Thomas, is well.. Thomas, and doesn't set the world a light. Kristiansen should be sold. Justin gets caught underneath the ball time and time again, which ever side he plays.

We really could do with a proper good, tall, left back imo

He's a right back isn't he?

Yes, ultimately, but he can play both sides. In his title winning season at Parma, he played 40% of his games at left back

£3m we bought him for, with 6 months remaining on his contract. We already had two right-footed players who can play at LB.

Brainless signing and seems like we genuinely bought him because he’d previously played under the long departed Enzo.

Anybody with a brain knew it’d turn out badly

Agreed. But Woyo is Left footed and can actually play both sides

And he made 5 appearances that season. So each of those appearances cost us £600k lol

No wonder we're so fvcked financially!

With Cifuentes alternating shifting one of his full backs high and inside, I think Woyo will find a place in rotation. He has pace, he can hold up a ball and he likes to roam. That's a popular profile right now, for good reason. Keep, especially with Ricky's injuries.
