He wasn't that bad against arsenal last season from memory. Surely if he plays to that level he will be alright in this league and he has pace which helps.

In fairness, very few professionals in any industry are going to commit to a club / business without a decent length contract. Add to that we were asking him to move country etc.

Judging by his face in that picture with Birchenall, he simply doesn't want to be here. Can't blame him, I don't know what he was promised but to not even be in the squad when it's this thin and shit is very telling.
