ithuriel Posted 18 January Posted 18 January Over halfway through January and still the same squad for all intents and purposes so it's pretty obvious they are not going to back the new manager with new players, how long before he walks or is sacked because he obviously cant do anything with this squad. 1

moore_94 Posted 18 January Posted 18 January (edited) 3 minutes ago, Babylon said: Or perhaps the manager decided not to chuck someone in who has probably barely even kicked a ball with his teammates yet. Which just shows the club should’ve got a bloody move on and had players in so it means we could have new players in a match day squad before 26th January at the earliest Edited 18 January by moore_94 3

I don't really understand how anyone can be hyper critical of the line up, it's hardly like there are obvious players to bring in on current form, they squad is just quite rubbish especially with the injuries. Bolster the ****ing line up. Drop Vards. Drop Mavididi. Add Daka. Add a holding midfielder. Replace Sure with Buonnotte 1

GavParket Posted 18 January Posted 18 January Vardy has to be first name on the team sheet right now. If someone can drag us out of this situation then it’s him. 1

Unless you've already nominated Justin for player of the season. He's not been our best outfield player. You're also confusing people criticsing him with most just thinking with him not being massively in form we should probably rotate him when we've had a lot of games in a short period of time. He might score a load today but I think it'd be wise to still rest him when we can. Edited 18 January by Tommy Fresh
Richmondfox Posted 18 January Posted 18 January Hopefully the defence and midfield just avoid passing to JJ and Ayew because it will just get sent backwards anyway. Another Soumare pressing masterclass.
Fear Of The Fox Posted 18 January Posted 18 January 3 minutes ago, Miquel The Work Geordie said: Broadly, I don't think people are criticising as such, they're simply acknowledging that he's 38 and we can't expect him (rightly!) to press - 3 games a week is a lot. I understand but I still believe Vardy has no fitness problem playing a lot of games within a week. There's no alternative. We can't start just with Daka upfront. We can play them both but this is not happening unfortunately.

jmono84 Posted 18 January Posted 18 January 13 minutes ago, Paninistickers said: We can admit that Vardy isn't good enough you know..it's isn't sacrilege. Arsenal aren't still playing Thierry Henry. Man U don't still play Cole and Sheringham up front. Liverpool don't still play Robbie Fowler. But all are still fondly remembered. Yea Vardy should be dropped for Cannon. Vardy was a big reason why we didn’t get anything against palace, it shouldn’t always be down to him tho to score, Daka ain’t the man either, give Cannon a chance
skinnydipper Posted 18 January Posted 18 January Tbf to Ruud you could perm any of our available players into a starting 11 and bench and you'd have a shit starting 11 and bench 1
