To be fair there are multiple points to consider for this.

1. It's great to see others take a lead/initiative on this sort of thing and as a group, we don't feel it's right to barge in and take over.

2. Following on from point 1, the leader(s) of this also wouldn't want groups to get too involved.

3. As a group, we want to make sure this has value which meant biding our time a little bit to see how it evolves.

Bottom line, I do think the group (or at least majority of members) will support this but not front and centre. We will be present to join in but not steal anyone's thunder. The closer we get, the more we will talk internally about any plans.

1. Who says you need to barge in and take over, why not just participate like the rest of the fan base.

2. where have they said that? Protest but not if you are a member of a supporters group? Bizarre and excludes a lot of genuine lcfc fans who happen to be part of UFS, and oppose the current running of the club.

3. A lot of people have been clambering for change and this is the first time it’s been organised so surely a great opportunity to get your voices heard in decent numbers?

Maybe I’m missing something

You’re missing everything.

1) ‘Just participate like the rest of the fan base’ - they quite clearly can’t when they’re getting called out asking if they’re getting actively involved. They’re a collective not individuals as well so amongst the group there will be varying views on the protest.

2) I think the point here is that they want the individuals within UFS who are keen to join to do so without it being ‘in partnership with’.

3) See points 1 and 2

I think you’ve provided a great illustration of what they’re up against at times. They get called out to ask what they’re doing, they provide perfectly reasoned explanation of their stance, people pick holes in said stance!

i do wonder how people cant see things at the club need to change

RVN was promised there would be money to spend this window etc

we'd get players in, and look at it 1 player through the door,

mismanagement no accountability staleness in the upper areas of the club

its needs refreshing and restructure

Page 5 of this thread, 19th January. Not exactly what you've inferred, but they said that they don't want supporters groups involved.

Not take ownership of it but maybe a post out on Twitter raising the profile of it and get more people to take it seriously potentially?

The club absolutely stinks in every single way, on and off the field. Sack everyone, bulldoze seagrave, start again at Sunday League level.

last week cannot cover over the massive issues within the club

nail on head

Well said Jason Bourne.  We’re down and I hope we just keep losing so change eventually comes.  Not bothered if they go down to Midlands Counties level as may get my club back and afford to go.  Much prefer non league anyway.

We need consistent and vocal protests at every single game. We need the supporters groups to write to Top and the club every single week stating that things need to change, not gradually but permanently. We need to make it clear to the people running the club that things are not good enough and things need to change.

Some sections of the pathetic fan base are the main reason we as a club are in the shit as we are now.

A bunch of weak piss shithouses. The whole fan base needs to go ****ing mental and go against the club and the structure of it all.

Enough is enough

The happy clapper fan base can all **** off aswell I hope the fan base turns on those ***** as well and kick **** out of them

Even if miraculously in the event we somehow  do stay up,we should as  a fanbase should still  be turning on the board rudkin ,as the club will still be run the same going forward.

The happy clappers will probably only go once we become crap for a few years, sadly.

Surely people can't keep harping on about the PL and FA Cup win forever?

I’m sorry but there is no chance we are staying up 😂 we are the worst team in the league and will finish second bottom/bottom. So we won’t have that conundrum!
